1965 Mustang Fastback "A" Code Up for auction is a 1965 mustang fastback. I purchased this car with intentions on restoring it, but now need the money for another project. When I purchased the car it had no drivetrain and had 1970`s flares on it. I have since replaced both quarter panels, the tail light panel and some floor pieces. The car has all sheetmetal with the exceptions of the headlight buckets and some of the front pieces. I installed a 1989 302 in it from a GT mustang. I have converted it to work with a C4 and V-belts as it was originally in front of a five speed with a serpentine belt set up. It needs underhood items installed (radiator, wiring etc) before it can be started. I have all the glass and interior for the car. The fiberglass interior pieces are in decent shape, but can easily be sanded and painted to bring them up to show car quality. The interior just needs to be cleaned up and assembled as it was taken apart for the sheetmetal work. This is a great project car and I wish that i was in a position to finish it but unfortunately i must get rid of it. I`m hoping to get around 10k for it as these are getting more difficult to find and are not around every street corner. I am open to offers and would like to let the auction take its course unless I get an offer close to what I am asking.
