This is a 1993 porsche 968 cabrio. It has a clean title and is an original black on black cab with a clean title, current CA reg and current CA smog cert with only 118k ----I rescued the car as it sat parked for 5 years ----there is 500 miles on a FULL motor tune up including: timing belt, tensioners, cam chains, h20 pump, plugs etc etc etc ----THE CAR IS ORIGINALLY A TIPTRONIC CAR, BUT I HAVE CONVERTED IT TO AN S2 5 SPEED MANUAL. the s2 is a great tranny for this car dt the low gear ratio. ---there is 500 miles n the conversion that includes new sachs clutch, master, slave, stainless clutch lines. the conversion is done with all porsche parts and is perfect. ---I have also gone through the suspension and brakes. has rebuilt koni sport shocks, new a-arm bushings, tie rods, new alignment, 80% Michelin pilots all around. ---wheels are very clean boxster staggered 17", i think the perfect size for this car. front is 205/50/17 rear is 255/45/17 ----THE CAR IS MECHANICALLY VERY VERY SOUND, VERY TIGHT, CRISP AND FAST ---I also had the convertible top mechanicals rebuilt, the motors synced, and a new back window put in ---the seats are newer 993 full power leather seats in good condition, same pattern as the 1994 968 seats. --interior is reasonable with some nicks here and there. ---LOTS OF GIZMOS DO NOT WORK IN THE INTERIOR: no dash lights, power to rear view mirrors only kind of works, no clock, cigarette lighter, no power door locks, passenger door does not open from outside, no cruise control, auto trunk release does not work ---the power top works perfect, the power windows are good, fogs lights, indicators all good. ---the headlights turn on and most of the time they both flip up, but sometimes just one or the other flips up, then after a minute the other flips up. ---the rails for the rear edge f the door windows are gone as shown in pic. ---the body has some panel misalignment in the front fenders/hood off by a few mm's. looks like a bump to front passenger side and someone replaced passenger fender and hood at some point but chassis is definately straight. ---car presents very well as is see pics ---has original owners manual with original maintainance records -------------ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING, PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST +10 POSITIVE FEEDBACK WITHOUT EMAILING ME FIRST OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID.
