1965 Karmann Ghia Coupe. This car had been in a storage a long time and the building cough fire. A friend of mine bought it and cut the top off of it and started working on the brakes. I got it running for him and it has been driven about 3 miles total since the fire. I traded him for it and started working on some rust spots. I welded new metal around the headlights and worked on the rear roof post where he cut it off. I took the gauges out of it and cleaned them up and they look good as new. I have a new windshield (not pictured or installed), taillights, front turn signal lenses, rear hood weatherstrip, and lens gaskets. The floor is not rusted through but the car has a lot of rot around bottom and under the bumper holes all around the car. The car is also covered in small dents and dings. It needs metal work to be finished around the windshield. The bottom of the rear hood is rotted, and it is not in primer. The ignition switch is in the shifter, and the lock cylinder was froze up so my friend made a t handle key to start it with. The car does run, but it has been sitting for over a year and will only run if you pour gas in the carb. It is a 6v car but will start and run off 12v but I wouldn't do it for long without converting it. The brakes don't work, I don't know what all was done to them but I do know that the E brake works. I also have a spare wheel. Buyer responsible for pickup or shipping. I don't suggest using a tow bar if you have to pull it very far because the tires are old.
