Vehicle Detail
My apologies to everyone that looked at this ad recently. EBAY cancelled my listing because of a "movie title" I had in the descriptive heading. So...........let's try this once again: Up for auction is a 1970 Dodge Charger project car. This is not a Charger R/T, but could be recreated as a tribute as one. This is a very complete (minus the engine/trans) restorable classic muscle car that would make a great father/son/daughter project. It is structurally very solid underneath. It is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime. The last picture shows this car with some of my other project Chargers that I POSSIBLY may list on ebay in the near future. -I also have some restored Chargers to be listed soon too! BODY: This car was originally blue. I stripped 95% of the outer body to bare metal, and sprayed it with PPG black epoxy primer. The frame rails are in great condition. The rear 1/4 panels have some filler in them ( I believe they can be repaired.). The front fenders have some pin holes behind the tires and some filler near the front. The doors are in decent condition. The grill is in Excellent condition!!! Headlight doors open and close manually. All the windows are intact. The driver side front floor needs a patch underneath the pedals. The trunk has been patched some years ago. INTERIOR: The interior was originally blue also. I installed new black carpet, black door panels (front and rear), and a black console. The dash is still blue, but can be dyed black to match. The dash gauges and wire harness are present. The front bucket seats are correct 1970 Charger seats, but are missing the tracks. The rear seat has been covered in an aftermarket fabric. DRIVETRAIN: This car does not run or drive, and must be towed. The car does not come with an engine or transmission. The engine compartment harnesses are still present. It was originally equipped with a 318" V-8, with automatic transmission, but these are long gone. I do have several Mopar big block 440" engines and transmissions available that may be purchased separately by the winning bidder (at additional cost to the winning bidder). I can list this in a separate auction if interested. The rear end is an 8-3/4. (I'm not sure of the gear ratio). Please note that the brand new "Torque Thrust 2" wheels and BFG Radial T/A tires pictured DO NOT come with this car, but may be negotiated for at auctions end. I will provide "roller" tires with the car to the winning buyer. OVERALL: This car is structurally very sound. It is a great car to restore. It is in restorable condition, and is more complete than most project cars. I have a clear MI. title to this car in my name. TERMS OF SALE: This car is sold "AS-IS, WHERE-IS". Shipping is solely the buyers responsibility. (I might be able to transport this car to you for $2/loaded mile. I have a truck and trailer) Bidders with less than 10+ feedback must call me first for bidding approval. Winning bidder must pay a $1000 deposit through paypal or wire transfer within the first 24 hours of the end of the auction to secure their purchase. The remaining balance must be paid within 3 calendar days of the end of the auction. You may pay the remaining balance through bank/wire transfer, or by cash in person. The car may stay on my property free up to 30 days of auctions end, so you can arrange for shipping, providing it has been paid in full. After 30 days, there will be a $10/day storage fee. By bidding on any of my items, you are agreeing to these terms completely. Failure to comply with these terms will negate any bids placed by you. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds available to pay immediately. Call me if you have any questions at:(734)-341-3186. Thanks, Jeff.
