We are very proud to present this breathtaking and truly STRIKING 1973 Riviera Boat Tail! A collectors true dream and a car that was very much loved for and it clearly shows. This frame off restoration started in 2007 and concluded recently with every tiny detail done to immaculate standards. This car can easily be entered into any exotic/collector's car auction including Barrett Jackson, RM, Mecum, and the others and easily introduced as a MINT car! Before the restoration, this was a 1 owner rust free car with 72,000 original miles. THE FRAME OFF COMPLETE RESTORATION AND CUSTOMIZATION STARTED WITH THE COMPLETE DISSASSEMBLY OF THE CAR. ALL PARTS WERE PRESERVED AND RENEWED TO ORIGINAL CONDITION. THE BODY WAS BEAD BLASTED AND PRIMED AS TO PREVENT ANY RUST FROM FORMING. THE BODY WAS THEN WORKED ON BY A GROUP OF BODY TECHS WITH OVER 30 YEARS EXPERIENCE TO BRING IT TO THE HIGHEST STANDARDS. THE FRONT GRILL WAS SHORTENED AND THE FRONT BUMPER REMOVED. A NEW AIR DAM WAS DESIGNED AND FABRICATED TO ENHANCE THE ONE OFF FRONT FASCIA THE REAR BUMPER WAS FABRICATED WITH BRIGHT LED LIGHTS AND "TUCKED IN" TO ENHANCE THE OVERALL LOOK OF CUSTOMIZATION. TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION WAS REBUILT WITH SHIFT KIT BY PAE AND WORKS FLAWLESSLY. ALL STEEL BUMPERS WERE REMOVED FROM THE RIVIERA AND REPLACED WITH CUSTOM BUMPERS THE SMOOTH LINES AND EXCEPTIONAL SILVER PAINT ARE THE PERFECT CANVAS WAITING FOR YOUR PERSONAL TOUCH WITH JUST THE RIGHT PIN STRIPING OR GHOST FLAMES ALONG WITH THE BUMPERS BEING REMOVED, THE INTAKE AND HEADS WERE REPLACED WITH ALUMINUM PARTS TO DROP THE CARS OVERALL WEIGHT BY MORE THAN 507 POUNDS. NEW ALUMINUM STAGE 1 HEADS WERE USED WITH A ROLLER ROCKER ASSEMBLY, THEN PORTED AND POLISHED FOR HIGH OUTPUT. THE ORIGINAL 455 ENGINE WAS REMOVED AND SHIPPED TO PAE ENTERPRISES IN EL PASO, TEXAS. There is absolutely nothing to hide! Exterior is exceptionally clean as the pics will show. The paint job cost over $5,000 and the body is straight as an arrow! There is not a single dent, ding or scratch! If a perfect brand new car is a 10, this car is a 9.9! Interior is also very clean as the pics will show. This was a non smokers adult owned car. There are absolutely no foul odors. The seats were redone and are perfect. The carpet is brand new and 4 Buick embredded floor mats included. The dashboard is in excellent condition without any cracks and all other interior components are in excellent condition. Overall, I rate the interior a strong 9.5 out of 10. Mechanically the car drives like a brand new car off the assembly line. The engine is VERY STRONG and healthy, the 400 turbo transmission shifts very smoothly, the AC is cold and the heat is strong. All power options work perfectly including the odometer, radio, etc etc. Notice the very cool gauges which luminate a blue color and show oil temperature, RPM's, and water temperature. The alignment is straight and even at speeds of 90mph the ride is smooth, comfortable and very awesome! The tires are brand new and the slotted/drilled brakes are good. This car is VERY VERY fast and although never tracked or race I believe it would run a 1/4 mile in about 13 seconds.
