Im selling my 1955 willys. This jeep spent its life owned by a service station and was well maintained throughout. I bought it 8 years ago after the station went out of business. Since then it has been garaged and driven infrequently around the farm to keep it up. The engine runs strong, the transmission and transfer case are tight and shift perfectly. The steering is tight as are the brakes, however there is a leaky brake cylinder and they would need to be bled. The engine is the F head overhead valve four cylinder and the exaust doesnt leak. The electrical and charging system needs some help, but doesnt appear to be a big deal as most of the harness looks pretty good. The snow plow works but needs a new piece of steel and a couple of bolts in the carriage. The tub is in rough shape, but the frame looks good. The half cab, front clip, hood, and even front fenders are in good condition. I have done a tuneup recently and replaced the fuel tank a couple of years ago. I replaced the tank with a new under the seat tank like the origional. This is the first year that they made a cj-5 and I have the title. There is no reserve on this item.
