Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a 1987 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, 5.0L (305) 4BBL V8, Auto trans, original to the best of my knowledge. Vehicle was running and driving, but needs a new battery and a radiator hose fixed to drive again. Engine has just over 144K miles, but you wouldn't know it from looking at the engine. Car has been sitting for awhile. Vehicle is a hardtop. Exterior: Blue with some black accents, American racing wheels, tires hold air (low tread), paint chipping on bumpers (front and back) and spoiler, minimal (I mean minimal) surface rust (no holes). Driver's side headlight needs fixed or replaced, but low/high beam still work, needs 1 fog light, both headlight motors need to be fixed/replaced. Could use new weatherstripping. Hatch struts need replacing, hood struts work fine. Interior: Gray, fair condition, tears in seats (typical F-Body), has blue/black seat covers, dash pad is cracked, all gauges except for oil pressure work, no radio/rear speakers (previous owner removed), headliner sagging, but all there.Interior is all there. Heat/AC work. could use a good cleaning. Back seats/trunk area in good condition. Needs horn also. (button there, but doesn't honk). Has red/orange dash lights Drivetrain: Transmission shifts fine, could use an alignment, engine runs good, a radiator hose broke, so it will overheat if run too long, engine is exceptionally clean, rear end acts as it should (non-posi). Needs new tires, but you can drive on the ones it has, but probably won't pass inspection. Car should be towed anyway in this weather. Exhaust I believe has a leak, but it still sounds good. Was running and driving until the radiator hose went, now from sitting in the cold the battery is dead. Usually runs with a jump in warmer weather. More pictures available upon request, these are just the only ones I had on my computer. easy project car. Car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Bill of sale only, as Vermont does not require a title for vehicles of this age, however you should have no problem getting a title for this vehicle
