1996 Ford F250 XLT Extended Cab heavy duty pickup truck with an 8 foot bed. This is a very heavy duty truck that is in great shape mechanically and body. This truck is equipped with a heavy duty all steel power lift gate that works great. I have the original chrome bumper and tailgate that comes with the truck. If you have no need for the lift gate I will be glad to remove and install the tailgate and bumper. A very clean truck inside and out. The body is very clean and well kept. Corner cabs that usually rust are solid and rust free. All metal!!! This is a truck that needs to be seen to appreciate. You will find some scratches, dings and dents that are associated with a vehicle of this age. Overall an extremely clean truck that is sharp. The two tone color combo is very good looking. This truck is straight and very solid. Drives straight and the front end is good. No leaning wheels or suspension issues at all.. A nice driving truck that handles very nice. The springs are all very good. Straight on down the road with no issues. Stops good with no squeals or vibrations. Rotors and brakes are good. Tires are LT 235-85-16 commercial grade tires that have very good tread and hard sidewalls so you have no issues with stability. This is a heavy duty truck that will handle any load you put in it witout trouble at all. The springs are stout. Does not squat under a load. A heavy duty truck that drives like a light duty. Enjoyable to drive for a F250 HD chassis. 8 foot bed gives plenty of room for all your hauling needs. The lift gate is a dream come true. That I will miss. Anything at all you need to haul this gate will handle, I do not care how much it weighs. One tough gate. I always consider putting the gate and bumper back on but the lift is so handy. The downside is everyone you know wants to borrow the truck. That part is a pain. I really can not say enough about this truck. Paint and chrome shines nice. This truck was taken care of and you can tell by the condition. The only really spot that is noticeable is a scratch in the right bed side in the gray and the right side of the hood was bent and straightened. the hinge bound up and bent the hood. Paint not broken and been that way for a long time. This Ford is equipped nice with full power including windows and locks. Other options are tilt wheel, cruise control, gauge package, Air conditioning. Air needs a charge. It will hold for usually two seasons. Compressor and everything is good. I hardly used the truck this year so never charged it. Must just be a small leak somewhere in the system. The stereo is original and has a casette player. Wiper blades are new. Everything works on the truck. the inside is very clean. Has not been smoked in and has no smells or odors from anything. Carpet is in great shape. The rear seat has been hardly used and the front split bench seats are highback, clean and very comfortable. Sliding rear window. All gray inside. Very nice shape. Seats are not worn. This can sit in the front with plenty of room or fold down the big console and use for an armrest, drink holder and storage. Also have a very spacious diamond plate tool box that goes with the truck. This truck has held up nice and will provide you with many years of good usage. Aluminum wheels really add to the looks of the truck. These are factory wheels. If you need a very nice truck this will work out well for you. About as nice as you will find for a used truck. Just thinking about the truck and the only thing I can think of that you may eventually want to do is replace the exhaust at some point and time. I also have a spare tire for it that will throw in the bed. This a very solid truck. The 5.8L engine is a work horse. All the power you will ever need. I have this setup with a reese hitch and a 5 pin electric plug. Does not burn oil, does not leak oil. A very solid drivetrain. This truck is an exceptional runner. Transmission is an automatic overdrive and shifts nice. I have a free and clear title. If you do not live nearby, I will meet at the airport. This truck has two fuel tanks and both are in great shape with no leaks. The dual tank switching system works great. Flip the switch and will transfer from front to rear tank. A very nice option. I have had no complaints with this truck during the time I owned it. I purchased this from my frien which is teh same person I bought my last three vehicles from. He always takes care of his vehicles like I do and if repairs are done no corners are cut and quality parts are used. That does make a difference. A well maintained truck. I do not use teh truck much. It is handy to have when needed but right now the money is needed so I am selling this to the High Bidder. This is a no reserve auction.
