I have for sale a 1986 Toyota MR2. It has a 1.6 non-turbo 4-cylinder engine with an automatic transmission with push button overdrive. It has 84,000 original miles on it. The motor in it is basically no good. I was told that the head gasket went on it and also that the last person that drove it ran it very low on oil so I don't know if they blew it up or not. They started fixing it 10 years ago and it never got finished. Right now, the motor is all torn down on it but it has been covered up with a trash bag to keep any debris from getting in the motor. It would be pretty simple to put back together since they labeled everything and bagged up everything when they were taking it apart. The car is originally from Florida. The car is 95% rust free. All the body panels are rock solid. The only spot of rust on the body is on the front passenger side valance under the front bumper which I have shown in the one picture below. The paint is very nice besides one spot on the driver side of the roof. The sunroof needs replaced since it is cracked and it has a big hole in the center of it. I've removed it off of the car to keep the broken glass from falling inside of it but it goes with it if the winning bidder wants it. It has two very small dents in the back quarter panel on the passenger side. The clear visor above the rear window is in good shape besides it's a little sun faded but it's not cracked or broken. Some of the black plastic around the rear window though does have a few cracks in it and there is one crack/break in the passanger side rocker cover. The rear spoiler is in good shape. The interior is in good shape besides the carpet in one spot on the driver side is worn through and there is a crack in the glove box door. The insides of both the front and rear trunks are in good shape. This car has optional air conditioning, rear defrost, and electric driver and passanger mirrors. It has aftermarket Prime alloy wheels that are in good shape for the most part. It has descent tires. This car has no brakes. There is no exhaust on the car but it is all there and goes with it. The only thing this car is missing is one of the windshield wiper arms for some reason. This would be a fairly easy restoration project. With some work, this would make a very nice, rare, classic car. It is sold "as is", "Where Is", with no warranty. I have a clear Michigan title for it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
