Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE 1972 911 Widebody Cabriolet with RS spec Motor Just taken out of storage and put back on the road. 1972 911 T Targa body which was originally black. The tub is straight and absolutely without rust. The front trunk and rear engine compartment are still black. The 930 flairs are steel and were professionally installed by someone who knew what he was doing. The white exterior paint is now only in fair condition. The tail is a fiberglass reproduction as is the front spoiler. The front spoiler is cracked at the bottom. The door gaps and shut lines are very good. The Hoop for the Targa top has been removed, and a manual cabriolet top installed. The wheels are Factory Fuchs 7X16 and 8X 16. The tires are old. The brakes seem to be from a Boxster. An Autopower roll bar has been installed. The gages seem to be from the original 1972 911 and all appear to work. The interior is from an early 1980’s SC in blue vinyl. The seats and the dash are in good condition, the Cab top is not. Much of the carpet kit is missing. The aftermarket Momo steering wheel is in good condition. The car has power windows which work and power mirrors on both sides. The oil fill on the exterior passenger side is still original. The two battery boxes in the front trunk remain, but the front latch panel has been modified to accept the later hood. The rear latch panel has been modified for the rear reflector and tail. The lights and turn signals are all operational. The car has a RS spec MFI motor. The case came from a 1975 911S, and reportedly 2.7 RS MFI pistons were installed with the correct S MFI cams. I do not have receipts for any of the motor work except one from Gus at Pacific to modify and rebuild the MFI pump to 2.7 RS specs. It does have the larger magnesium stacks, and does make lots of power. It is still running the stock 72 oil tank with no cooler, and the original CD ignition box. The transmission shifts smoothly and does not grind in any gear. I believe it to be from the original 1972. The Motor is very healthy and makes a ton of power. The compression numbers are as follows: 1 165 4 165 2 170 5 169 3 172 6 171 I have set my reserve very low, as I need to sell this car before Christmas. My reserve is set far below the value of the parts The car is advertised locally, so I reserve the right to end the car at any time. Please ask questions before bidding. If you have little or no feedback, or negative feedback contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid. I can arrange shipping to Europe.Cal Weber 949 212-4834
