Vehicle Detail

1962 Lincoln Convertible Hello everyone, up for auction is my rare and very clean 1962 Lincoln Continntal Convertible. This beauty is a perfect example of a rust-free California car that’s been in storage most of its life. Has just over 69k original miles. I've owned her for about 6 years now and I purchased it from the original family that owned it in Huntington Beach, CA. Most of the restoration has been done in the past year including new two stage paint, interior, canvas top, chrome, and drive train. No expense spared, got over $30k invested in restoration alone. If you know classic Lincolns then you know these cars aren’t cheap to restore. There's way too much to list so I'm just going to post a few specs and if there‘s anything I missed feel free to ask. Paint is about 6 months old (very clean and straight body), everything has either been triple chromed or polished from the 3 piece bumpers to the door locks knobs ($3.800 in chrome alone), brand new custom canvas top (same material as used in new Mercedes convertibles -$2,500), mint interior (new factory style red seat upholstery, all new wood trim, carpet, dash, door panels, glove box, seatbelts, ect..), 462 big block bored .30 over, mild cam, new Edelbrock 1407 electric choke carb, Lots of power for a big heavy sedan!!! ..backed up by a freshly rebuilt C6 Auto Trans. Drive train has about 1000 miles on it. New brake system including power booster and master cylinder. All original glass in great shape. New convertible top pump and relays. All electrical in great shape and works perfect including; Conv top, all 4 power windows, power front bench seat, headlights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, wipers, horn, fuel and temp gauges, even the rear door cigarette lighters work as they should. As you can see I went with 65 Lincoln tail lights because I like the chrome grille (still have original 62 lights included as well). Car runs excellent and turns heads wherever I drive it. Starts every time and cruises great at all speeds. Suspension feels like you're riding on a cloud. If you don’t like attention then this car is not for you. Clean and current CA title in hand with tags paid until Oct 2012. I had originally bought it with the intention of using it as a rental vehicle for weddings and photo shoots but I recently purchased a rare S code 67 Mustang fastback that needs a full restoration so I need to sell my Lincoln if I wanna start my Mustang restoration. Car is available for inspection by any serious bidder during this auction so feel free to give me a call to set up an appointment (714)721-9031 -Dave, leave a brief message if I don’t answer and I’ll call you right back. As all other classic cars it is being sold in AS IS condition with no warranty implied or expressed with this sale. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding. Not really interested in any trades so please don’t ask. This is a NO RESERVE listing so the car will go to the highest bidder no matter what. View my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for viewing my listing and HAPPY BIDDING!!!
