This is a numbers matching '69 Corvette Sting Ray convertible with a rebuilt 427 engine & trans. It hasn't been started since being rebuilt. Will come with a clean title from Nebraska and what's left of the original build sheet. It is up to the buyer to come see and further inspect the car before the end of the auction.--> On Jan-04-12 at 07:51:27 PST, seller added the following information: The engine is numbers matching and has the vin on the stamp pad, the block is the 512 casting and the original aluminum intake manifold is installed,the factory cast iron exhaust manifolds are there too. the transmission has the vin stamped on the side of it too. I bought this car about 5 years ago as a unfinnished project car, I havent really done anything to it, so now it guess it's time for a new home. The chrome bumpers are included, and a real nice 427 hood, apparantly the original hood was stolen several years ago. The original shifter is included too The frame has no rust, but it does have a dent in one of the crossmembers (cosmetic issue)I see no evidence of any accident and the body panels line up very well. So the car sites with no carb, no exhaust and needs a few weekend to make it a driver again. Tre previous owner stated the engine and trans rebuild was almost 5k, but he never finnished the install. This is you chance at a very rare Big Block Convertible at a resonable price, this is a quality corvette worthly of restoration for sure.
