For sale 1999 Ford Taurus Wagon w/ 115k miles 1,000 Or best Offer!! The car was used as a daily driver for about 5 years without any major issues. It could use a good cleaning but with a little time this can be a great family car. We parked the car about 3 months ago because we purchased a newer vehicle and when I went to start it, the alternator was not working. I was able to jump it without a problem. I'm not a mechanic by any means but it's odd that an alternator would just stop working like that. The terminals may just need to be cleaned. We had a mechanic install new brakes, rotors and a caliper about 6 months ago. The mechanic said that the tie rods should be replaced(that's probably why the car shakes sometimes while driving). FYI:As of last year we drove the car all the way up to Maine and back without any problems. Car will need to be towed unless you can get the alternator working.
