Note: The car is located in Brooklyn, NY 11235. The buyer will need to pick it up him/herself. THE GOOD: This (2002 Pontiac Bonneville SE with Black Exterior and Tan Interior) is a very stylish, good looking, and, I must note, rare car.I am the second owner.The car has never been in a car crash.The factory rack and pinion that was problematic across this model line has been replaced with a new one.Many of the features that this model had to offer are there for your pleasure and comfort. THE BAD: The car has already generated 157,193 of mostly highway miles driven to work.Rear windows don’t work and remain closed.Rear passenger door doesn’t open from the inside.Dashboard and radio backlight don’t work.Fuel level meter doesn’t work properly.Air conditioner doesn’t work properly.There are several mostly minor scratches around the body of the vehicle.There’s a normal wear and tear in the interior.IMPORTANT: Due to a malfunctioning catalytic converter (part of the exhaust system) the dashboard shows Service Engine Soon, which, if not fixed, will make it nearly impossible to pass a NYS inspection. Perhaps a slightly rattling noise while idle or in motion can be attributed to that as well. BOTTOM LINE: The above problems can of course be fixed, but I am neither an expert nor an enthusiast to deal with it. So I am willing to sell it at a bargain price. WHO SHOULD BUY IT? Any enthusiast of this car who is willing to fix it really up and then really enjoy it.A budget buyer who needs a good looking car at a bargain price, but willing to do at least essential repairs.Any parts dealer who needs it for part resale.
