This is a 1999 Porsche Boxster. My wife has inherited the car and we don't have the time, resources, or money to keep the car. We have driven the car all last summer up to now with no major problems. Everything on the car works to the best of my knowledge except the transmission seems to slip a little when you push the gas peddle more than half way when the car is hot (215 degrees or so). Was told that it may need a transmission filter and fluid change to fix. Also the key fob does not seem to work. I put a new battery without luck, but not sure what is wrong. The door lock works fine and sets the alarm and puts up the windows like it should. Also the navigation system seems to be old and a little behind modern systems. It has a dvd disk, so I'm not sure if you can update or not. It has a few small dings and scratches that you would expect from a car of this age. Now for the good. It has a recent soft top replacement that is in good shape. It has a hard top as well, heated seats, climate control,memory seats, wind deflector, six disc changer. The car starts up and seems to run like it should and is driven on a regular basis. We have had a few things fixed with the car recently like alternator, micro switches, fan. Would love to keep the car, but it is not practical for our family with only two seats and the Porsche dealer about 45 min. away. The car is currently registered and insured and current with the inspection sticker in the state of MA. The car is going to be for sale locally, so we reserve the right to end the auction early if need be. This car is being sold where is as is. Thanks for looking
