Cosmetic Condition:
Please use the 40+ pictures as your best resource. The body is straight and the paint shines nice. The fiberglass is in good shape. The cab is in great shape as you can see. The interior is clean, detailed, and straight. Little to no excess wear on this van! Well cared for especially considering the nature of a work truck, age, and miles.
Mechanical Condition:
Smooth running V8; good power. Smooth shifting transmission that hits all points with correct timing. Firm and responsive brake pedal. Audible scrubbing noise from rear when applying brakes, which will need servicing in the future (metal to metal noise). This van has no problem in stopping however. Great alignment; no pulling or fighting the wheel. Quiet front end. The van feels tight (in a good way) and responsive to all inputs. About 75% tread remaining on all 4 tires! Note the rear tires are Hankook Dynapro AS and the fronts are BFGoodrich Commercial tires. The rear door rolls and locks without problems.
Final Words:
This van/box truck is unique with a low loading dock height. Less strain, easy access. Based on the GM 3500 or 1 Ton Chassis, parts become easily accessible and reasonable once maintenance is needed. Lower overall height than your typical dual rear wheel box truck so you can go where others can't. Fiberglass lasts long and weighs less than steel; less sacrifice in MPG over your traditional box. It even acts as a better insulator than steel. There is plenty of room to build a workbench or customize this truck to suit your needs.
