Vehicle Detail

We are selling this for a friend of ours. He purchased as a running car several years ago and has made many improvements and upgrades. Has always ran great and is very dependable. Dependable Ford Flathead engine that has been untouched and has 3 spd transmission with overdrive that works well. Car was restored about 8 years ago (by previous owner) and at that time it had new paint, new interior including headliner, new tires (radial), chrome plating redone, new carpets etc. Most of the wiring was replaced. Has a refinished steering wheel, factory turn signals and b/up lights, working radio and a factory clock (not connected). Previous owner has lowered the car front and rear. Lowering blocks in the back and an spacer plate was used in the front. Coils were not cut. Car is lowered about 2". No visible rust showing anywhere. Current owner has installed new gas tank, filler neck and stainless steel lines. New shocks. New dual exhaust system with Smitty mufflers.New hubcaps and beauty rings. New fuel pump. Rebuilt carburetor and distributor with new correct wires. 6 volt system. Bumper guards available with car. Body is straight and has a great paint job that has held up well. Always garaged by current owner. No known issues. Needs nothing but driven and enjoyed. We are located very close to Richmond Va. near interstates #64 and #95. We will assist loading for shippers. Please call or e-mail for appointment or appraisal. Any questions just e-mail us. Will not end auction early or sell after auction ends so please do not ask. On Jan-09-12 at 10:11:38 PST, seller added the following information: Got a chance to look underneath the car today. Very solid. Needs no repairs. Nothing soft or anything visibly rusted. Car had been undercoated a long time ago. Rocker panels very solid. There looks to have been some work done on the floor pans in front both sides. Very solid and needs no more attention. Frame is fine and no issues there. Had several inquiry's about the bolt head showing at the rear of the passenger side bumper. It is just a bolt that was put in to fill a drilled hole. Don't know why or when it was drilled.
