Vehicle Detail
This is my 1979 Porsche 924. I started this project several years ago, and just never finished. Its come time now to part with all of my extra toys, so its gotta go. It WILL run, but needs minor tuning. It will crank right up but only stays running for a minute or two. Im positive it has some vaccuum issues, but im not a mechanic so i dont know how to fix it. I have recently drained the fuel tank and cleaned the injection system out to get rid of any bad fuel that may have been in it, becasue it has set up for about 5 years. Also i changed the oil and filter, and installed a new fuel filter, and an OEM fuel pump. LIke i said it wont take much to get it functional and back on the road. The battery was dead and would not take a charge so it will need replaced, I just used one out of another car to test it. Also the tires are fairly old, im sure youll need some new ones. I tore the car down years ago because the front drivers panel got ran into, and i was going to go ahead and get a whole new paint job, and put performance seats in, but as you can see that dream never came true. Also the reason i pulled the seats out was due to what was just a few small leaks around the sunroof, which eventually got a little worse and ruined my seats. There is some small rust pit marks around the sunroof, it will definelty need to be repaired. All in all the body is in great shape, replaced the front fender as seen in the pics with a new porsche fender. Obvioulsy it needs painted too. So right now there is now interior, no seats or carpeting. I have ALL of the other parts though. I kept everything very neatly packaged as seen in the pics in a storage container. All of the lights are intact and perfect. The rear lighted "porsche" marker is perfect and works great. Both front and rear bumper are good just need put back on. Other than the interior everyhting is here. Like i said, this will make someone a GREAT project car. It really wont take much to assemble a beautiful little classic sports car. I just dont have the time anymore nor the desire to do it. This is a no reserve auction, so highest bidder wins. I am starting the bid off at the lowest possible price i could accept, so please dont ask if i could do a lower price. Im sure you will love your purchase! Please remember we need your 5 star positive feedback. We will leave the same feedback for you. We greatly appreciate your business!
