Vehicle Detail
Only 104,xxx miles, and very well maintained. It is a 3 Owner Vehicle. My Godfather purchased it with 29,000 miles on it and drove it until 101,000 miles, at which point he was going to trade it in for a new one, so instead I bought it from him. It has been a great, solid, and reliable vehicle that will run forever. The only (and I mean only reason) I am selling it, is because I now have more vehicles than garage stalls, so I need to sell a few. If you want a Land Cruiser in Amazing shape, this is the one. I'm selling it LOW RESERVE, so highest bidder takes it. DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU INTEND TO PAY. I WILL TAKE ALL LEGAL ACTION TOWARDS RESTITUTION FROM NON-PAYING BIDDERS. IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE, AND I WON. I DO NOT WANT TO GO THROUGH IT AGAIN, SO PLEASE BID IN GOOD FAITH! Here are the Cruisers highlights:K40 RADAR DETECTION SYSTEM- FULLY INTEGRATEDLOW MILES- 104,XXXDIFFERENTIAL LOCKING SYSTEMPOWER ASSIST AND LOW RANGE SELECT DRIVELEATHER SEATS IN PERFECT CONDITION ALL AROUNDFULLY FUNCTIONAL ELECTRONICS, POWER WINDOWS/SUNROOF, STEREO SYSTEMTOWING PACKAGE WITH 4-PIN HARNESSHERE ARE THE CRUISERS DOWNFALLS:THERE IS A DECENT SIZED DENT FROM A BOAT TRAILER THAT HIT NEXT TO THE LICENSE PLATE ON THE TAILGATE. (SEE PICTURE) THE AM/FM ANTENNA NO LONGER EXTENDS. EITHER THE MOTOR IS BURNED OUT, OR THE GEAR IN THE ACTUATOR HAS WORN OUT. EASY FIX, BUT I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH RECEPTION, SO I HAVEN'T FIXED IT.COULD USE A NEW SET OF TIRES IN 10-15K MILES. ON THE INTERIOR OF THE TAILGATE, THERE SHOULD BE A PIECE OF FABRIC COVERING THE METAL BODY PANEL INSIDE, BUT DUE TO PLACING A BOAT BATTERY ON IT, THAT LEAKED, SOME OF THE CARPETING MATERIAL MELTED FROM BATTERY ACID AND LOOKED UGLY SO I REMOVED IT. I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL PIECE OF FABRIC AND BOARD BACKING, BUT HAVE IT OFF BECAUSE IT LOOKS BETTER WITHOUT IT. I WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS, AND HOPE THAT SOMEONE WILL FIND THIS VEHICLE AS USEFUL AND FUN AS I HAVE. HAPPY BIDDING!!On Jan-03-12 at 20:23:14 PST, seller added the following information:I will add a link to undercarriage photos tomorrow. On Jan-05-12 at 11:35:02 PST, seller added the following information:I am adding this, as most are asking the same questions. Records? There are a ton of records, and I have not gone through them. The vehicle has been absolutely great to my Godfather and when I bought it didn't feel the need to go through them. But, with so many people asking about the records, I will be taking pictures of them tonight, and will post a link so everyone can view them. 80k service? As for the 80k service, I assume it was, but I need to double check to be sure. Brakes ok? The brakes were last done about 10k ago, and they were bled about 500 miles ago. There is great brake pedal pressure and plenty of stopping power with or without a boat behind. Glass condition? Glass throughout the Cruiser is in mint shape. The tint on all of the rear windows is in great shape, with no scrapes or scratches. Diff and Transfer case? Since this is an All-Time 4wheel, the transfer and diff both work great. I've never had an issue locking the diffs or going from high to low gear, never had any binding or sticking. Strange noises? No strange noises. It used to have a sound coming from the roof that sounded like tapping a pencil on a desk, but I found that the rubber lining on the wind deflector for the sunroof had come loose. Since replacing the rubber, and retightening the wind deflector, the noise is gone. Electricals? All of the electricals work, with the exception of the antenna for the AM/FM stereo. When you press the extension/retraction button, it makes a tick tick tick tick. Either the actuator is broken, or the motor has lost power to push the antenna out. Cheap fix, but I've never had a problem with reception. Does it leak? It doesn't leak anything. It has spent its life in a heated garage, so exposure to the elements has been limited. No oil, trans fluid, brake fluid, radiator fluid, has ever leaked from it.I have not flushed the radiator, but it may have been done. Again, I need to go through the records. Third row area? This never had the third row seats. And yes, I will post pictures, just click the link. I will be posting a link with images of all records, pictures of the undercarriage, third row seating area (no seats), tailgate, and engine compartment by tomorrow. If you still have questions, please feel free to ask.
