Vehicle Detail

1959 Cadillac Coupe De Ville This is a series 63 Coupe De Ville that drives and runs great. I purchased the car about a year ago and I have a CLEAR title. The previous owner had attempted some repairs and restoration, but lacked the skill to reach his restoration goals. This car is mostly in its original condition, and needs restoration. I do not know if the motor and transmission have been rebuilt, but both seem to work fine. The car has what appears to be an original interior. It needs the usual dash and upholstery updates. NOTE: This car was listed on ebay last week and the winning bidder was proven to be a "FAKE BIDDER" after my bank information. Ebay closed the auction and security measures have been taken to avoid this issue. It was NOT due to any issues with the condition or car for sale. It has : Power seats Antenna Power windows AM radio Power brakes Power steering 390 V-8 It has the following new parts: Tires Brakes Shocks Battery and Regulator Fuel pump Rebuilt carb. Spark plugs and wires Rebuilt generator Rebuilt steering box Complete exhaust system and mufflers Brake hoses The power seats do work, I think I blew a fuse in the curcuit. The windows have all gone up and down. The heater has a bad core, and the antenna was removed. They're both in the trunk, and are complete. I'm not sure if the odometer is working. I have new belts and have serviced the car with lube and oil. I also have the door / side molding for the driver's door. I have checked the brakes, and they look good. The car has been painted in the past and has indication of an attempted repair on the driver's side door. There is some rust on the car (see pictures.) The car drives and shifts great. It's ready for restoration and turns heads every where it goes! The car runs "cool" during the summer, and in general is a great example of perhaps the finest days of 1959. This particular model was a production run of only 21,924 coupes. This car is sold in AS-IS condition, and no warranty is implied or conferred. Winning bidder is to pay $2,000 via Pay-Pal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The balance of the winning bid is to be paid via Pay-Pal within 7 days of the close of the auction. Car cannot leave the property until full payment has been satisfied. Shipping and delivery is the buyer's responsibility. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to click on the "Ask the Seller" button and I will reply. Good Luck Bidding!
