Vehicle Detail
I need cash so you get a screaming deal - If I didn't need to free up cash, I would NEVER sell this car: C6 Z51 Corvette Silver exterior, black interior, tinted see through removable targa top with: ECS Paxton 1500 supercharger - 9psi LG Motorsports - G5XB Blower Grind Cam - amazing sounding idle! Texas Speed Long Tube Headers Y-Pipe with cat-delete Alky Control Progressive Meth Injection 8 rib belt kit Promotion transmission (strengthened but set up for street driving) - carbon synchros, brass blockers, cryo treated shafts, the works... RPS Twin Carbon clutch - drives like stock but holds big power Aeromotive A1000 in tank pump - return style Big Aeromotive fuel rails rails RPM Stage V 2006-up differential with 3.73 gears Short throw shifter Speed Density tune by Jeremy Formato Autometer - Fuel psi, boost psi, wide band A/F ratio 53,750 miles with 10,000 miles since all the modsThis was my daily driver until I decided I wanted to keep from putting excessive miles on it. 660 RWHP, 606 RWTQ on 93 octane pump gas on a conservative tune - Jeremy Formato said we left at least 40 HP on the table by keeping the timing and afr on the safe side. It is built and tuned to last and set to drive every day, not be a dyno queen. That is over 800 HP at the crank. Any day of the week on a dry road, it will blaze the tires in 3rd gear at anything over about 3/4 throttle. Also, it will bury the 200 MPH speedo in amazingly short order. Drives like stock until you open it up...yes you can drive at 1000 RPM in 6th gear with no bucking and it even gets 26 MPG at 80 MPH and has averaged over 18 MPG combined for thousands of miles (driven fast and driven modest). It runs cooler than stock even with the AC on in stop and go traffic in the summer in Florida. It does have a choppy idle from the cam and a louder than stock (but better sounding) exhaust note so everyone will know you have a big power but the street manners and reliability are second to none because big $ was spent on the clutch, transmission, fuel system and custom tune. It drives AS GOOD AS Stock - no joke. I could have had the same performance for $10,000 less but I spent the last $10K so it would be comfortable and reliable enough to drive any and every day. It is just as happy being the stop light show off as it is on long road trips (twice in the last couple of weeks as part of my good bye car tour). I have never had it to the track but supercharged vettes with similar power on drag radial street tires are running consistently quicker than 10.5 seconds and consistantly faster than 135 MPH in the 1/4 and over 190 MPH in the standing mile. I really wanted to run a standing mile event with it and it was set up for that but I never quite found the time. It does out run stock 1000cc sport bikes (R1's and GSXR's) 'on a roll'. BTW, I am not biased as I own a GSXR-1000 myself. It is kept in its own garage and was adult owned since new. It isn't my first fast car (hopefully won't be my last). The reserve is VERY reasonable (less than 1/2 of what it would take to duplicate the effort). That said, I am not sure if I would be happier if it did or if it didn't sell. I actually can't believe I am listing it! Please call me any time with questions - Adam: (561) 718-6167 On Jan-07-12 at 06:45:59 PST, seller added the following information: We are now pretty close to the reserve (still way less than I am hoping for but that is life...) Good luck to everyone...AdamOn Jan-07-12 at 22:36:47 PST, seller added the following information: NEW PICTURES ARE ADDED with less than 20 hours to go. I wish I put them up sooner... Enjoy!
