1957 Bel Air 150/210 2-door post Lightly modified Up for bid is a 1957 Chevrolet 210 that has been lightly modified cosmetically. Before the previous owner had purchased this car a tree had fallen on the roof of the car and being the visionary that he is he bought it and proceeded to fix the roof by installing a 2-way power sun roof out of a 2004 Pontiac vibe plus he also installed the seats and incorporated the head liner out of the vibe into the chevy wich looks very professional. He then repaired any rust that was on the car using metal patch panels so this car is not a bondo buggy. After he had completed the body work and while he was recovering from a heart attack he decided to paint it using enamel paint. Well that was 7 years ago and he is doing fine and the car still looks good but it is time for it to go to a new owner. The car still retains it's original 283 but the 3-speed trans may not be original. The motor fires right up with no smoke or noises coming out of the dual exhaust. The transmission shifts fine but you have to double clutch it or have the rpms up when you shift into third otherwise it grinds a little.This car was built to be a driver and all the lights and blinkers and the horn and even windshield washers work. It has been all over Michigan to car shows and car event's and it has won at a few shows. This is not a show car but it is a well cared for 1957 chevy that is ready willing and able to take the new owner were ever they may choose to go.I have had many cars and this I think is one of the cooler cars I have had the pleasure of driving.
