Buying an ATV online can be scary. You'll notice in a lot of auctions there is very little description and very few pictures. In our auctions you get all the details, both good and bad. In addition you are always welcome to come check this quad out and ride/inspect it for yourself before the auction ends to ensure your happiness. ATV This ATV is a 2004 Honda Rancher AT 400 4x4. (TRX400FA) The Rancher is the best selling ATV in America for good reason. It is one of the most versatile, dependable ATVs ever made. It starts with the 400cc four stroke, air/oil cooled work horse engine. This is one of very few ATV engines that will go beyond 10,000 miles with just regular maintenance. The 400 Ranchers do include part time 4x4, so you can run in 2 wheel drive for light steering and simply flip the switch when you need 4x4 traction. The Transmission is the best part of the Rancher AT. It truly gives you the best of all worlds. When you want ease of use you flip the switch to "Auto" mode. In this mode it shifts itself, just like your car. Then if you feel like shifting gears you can flip it to "EPS" mode where you can choose from 5 forward gears simply by pushing buttons for an up or downshift. This transmission system is ultra reliable, easy to use and has no belts to slip or break. It does also have a pull start backup in the event of a dead battery. Of course digital instrumentation, racks and a trailer hitch are standard equipment. If you are reading this you probably know about Honda's legendary quality. We get to work on every ATV out there and the simple truth is that Honda's are simply a better made product than the competition. Of course it does come with a clean title. Condition: This ATV is in very good used condition. It has only 448 original miles and 99 engine hours of use. It runs great and has lots of power. The brakes, transmission, and etc. all work great. It runs perfectly has no leaks, smoke or any other issues. Appearance wise it looks great but there is some light fading of the red plastics. It has nothing cracked or broken but you can notice the sun fade. Otherwise this is a great, low mile machine. The original tires even show almost no wear. So overall you are getting a very nice used ATV at a $100 minimum bid and no reserve. You could go buy a new one for $8500+ or here you pick the price, what more could you ask for? No reserve and no “buy it now”. As for transaction details, We are MLS Powersports, located in Georgetown, Kentucky (40324). We are right off Interstate 75, 15 miles North of Lexington KY and 75 South of Cincinnati, OH. Our preference is that you pick this machine up with cash in person, but we will also accept a certified check or bank to bank wire transfer. It MUST be paid for (not necessarily picked up) within 7 days of the auctions close. We are willing to ship it but you must make the arrangements. If you pick this ATV up in person, we are required by law to charge you 6% Kentucky sales tax. We will provide the winner with a KY Certificate of Sales tax paid. When you title this ATV in your home state they WILL credit the 6% back to you and you will only have to pay the difference (if there is any) to your local sales tax. We do this all the time, do not worry, you will not have to pay sales tax twice. If you have it delivered to you, anywhere outside of Kentucky, you do not have to pay Kentucky sales tax but may still have to pay sales tax in your home state. The only other exception to this sales tax rule is a valid state exempion for farm/agricultural use. We don't need a deposit but if we ship, it must be paid in full first. This machine comes with a clean title that is ready to transfer. It will also come with a bill of sale and proof of being lien free. Canadian Bidders: We sell many ATVs to Canada because it saves you a lot of money. We know the paperwork requirements and what it takes to get it done. However, it is very expensive to have an ATV shipped from door to door due to customs broker fees. If you pick it up yourself or have it shipped to a border town and do your own border crossing you will save thousands vs buying in Canada. We also have a shipper we can direct you to who has many warehouses along the border where it can be shipped to and stored until you pick it up.
