NO RESERVE ! Up for auction is a 1990 VW Jetta GL This vehicle was built in Germany. It has a standard 1.8L 8 valve motor, and automatic transmission. Standard features include A/C, power steering, am/fm cassette( w/ 4 new speakers), and sunroof. Originally purchased on ebay in august, 2009, it has many new parts, including water and power steering pumps, battery, motor mounts(all 3), brakes,exhaust system, alternator and windshield. Also, both fuel pumps and both parking brake cables were recently replaced. Tires all match and are at 75%, with new wheel covers. Air conditioning system is complete, but needs a charge. Paint is in good shape, with only minor imperfections, and no rust. Interior is in very good condition, (seats, carpet, dashboard in exceptional condition), although headliner is worn. The vehicle recently developed an internal engine noise at idle after warm up, and the mechanic says it probably needs an oil pump. Also, the transmission shifts without slippage, but has a whining noise at highway speeds. It has a valid Pennsylvania inspection, good through Sept. 2012, and is a daily driver. This vehicle was previously listed as sold on ebay, but the high bidder backed out of the deal, and has been given negative feedback.
