Thank you for looking at this auction for a very nice surviving 1952 Ford F-1 pickup.The current owner has owned this truck for 32 years and is ready to work on other projects. The current owner is the 3rd owner and the truck is showing 80,000 miles and believed to be accurate. The original motor was traded out some time ago and replaced with a mid 80's 5.0 V-8.The transmission is the stock 4 speed manual. The motor does need work.Overall the body is very straight and solid; however the wood bed needs to be replaced. The truck was repainted once about 35 years ago and as you can see it is ready to be repainted. The condition of the body is very good for a truck this age and is very complete. Please note that this truck is advertised and listed locally. The truck was a daily driver until 15 years ago when the owner got a new job that required him to travel extensively rather than working locally. At that time the truck ran strong with a new clutch, tires and the breaks were great. Nothing mechanical stopped the truck. He drove it into the parking space where you see it parked and there it has set. Many of you have asked what the reserve is and the owner is not ready to release that information yet. I feel the reserve price is more than reasonable for this truck. On Dec-26-11 at 16:17:14 PST, seller added the following information: We have added a few more pictures. We spent a few minutes doing a quick clean up to better represent the condition of this nice truck. Please note that the dimples at the bottoms of the fenders behind the front and rear tires are factory spot welds to hold the fender brackets. Also note that there are no additional holes in the dash and all the gauges and switches are there except for the cigarette lighter. The paint on the dash board is original.
