1988 SUBARU XT6 2.7L 6 CYLINDER AUTO TRANS Up for auction is a beautiful 1988 Subaru XT6. Maroon in color with a charcoal interior. I don't think you'll find a nicer XT6 for sale with low miles like this one. Powered by a 2.7 litre 6 cylinder with automatic transmission and front wheel drive. This car is just in exceptional condition and loaded with desirable options. It's clean, quick and ready to go! This XT6 is equipped with a 4 speed auto trans (25-30 mpg), fuel injected 6 cylinder, cruise control, pop-up headlights, air conditioning, power mirrors, power windows, rear window defroster, remote gas cover release, remote trunk release, telescopic steering wheel, tilt steering, seat height adjuster, lay down rear seat, alloy wheels, AM/FM stereo with equalizer, windshield wiper tension adjuster, headlight washers, tachometer, pistol grip shifter, vanity mirrors, and more! It starts easy, idles right, drives straight and stops on a dime. It warms up quickly and temperature remains constant in the middle of the gauge. It's got plenty of power when needed (145hp) but when driven easy, it's a gas miser. Shifts are quick and smooth, no slipping or jerking. It handles like a sports car, taking corners with ease. The interior is in just superb conditon, unbelievable for a car 24 years old. The exterior paint is exceptional, no signs of peeling or oxidation. Check out the pics, the car was not even detailed before the listing and a good wax would bring out the shine even more. All lights and gauges work except the fog lights. Power locks, windows and mirros all work great. Tires have excellent rubber. The underside of the XT6 is exceptional as well. The cigarette lighter appears to have never been used. This car is truly an exceptional survivor but it has some flaws. It has some normal bumps, bruises and scratches as you might expect, but the pics really show how well this car has been preserved. The windshield has a crack, muffler has a hold in it, the radio doesn't work and on occasion the the serpentine belt will squeak. All things the new owner can address if they'd like, but the car can certainly be driven right now. Don't miss out on a chance to buy an XT6 in excellent condition.
