One of the last Discovery Series 1 trucks manufactured by Land Rover in the early parts of 1999 prior to them launching the Discovery Series 2 trucks in the first quarter of 1999. This particular vehicle is soon to be a classic and will be desired vehicle by car enthusiasts due to it's rarity. This auction has "NO RESERVE" and the vehicle is not listed anywhere else but on EBAY it will sell in 10 days. The truck is in good condition, it is used and has the normal wear and tear that can be expected, i.e. rock chips on the front end, and has low mileage at just under 106,000 original miles. It is a 4x4 which works perfectly with no issues. The transmission shifts smoothly and also has no issues. It has recently had some work done to it which is listed as follows: Water pump has been replaced within the past 30 days and new pump has approximately 30 miles on itSpark plugs and spark plug wires have been replaced within the past 30 days and have seen less than 10 miles sinceUpper radiator hose has been replaced within 30 days It drives straight and starts reliably. The ABS light is currently on but the brakes work perfectly and there is no visible sign of an issue in the braking system whatsoever. Land Rover does have a recall of the braking system which this truck has no record of ever being serviced for so the issue may easily be fixed by simply taking the truck to any dealership and having the recall issue serviced. The other issue is a hole in the catalytic converter which is going to need replacing. This of course has made the truck run rough and run louder than normal which was not the case prior to the hole appearing. It appears that the original converter is still on the vehicle so it isn't abnormal for it to be needing replacing. The interior of the vehicle is in great shape, no rips and tears in the leather and the carpet is abnormally clean for a 12 year old vehicle. The drivers seat is slightly worn from entering the vehicle but is still visibly in good condition. The stock am/fm cassette stereo and the stock speakers are still in the vehicle and sound good. This is a 7 passenger vehicle as it has the third row flip down seats in the cargo area. There is a single sunroof which currently is closed and has not worked. I have never looked into why so it may be as simple as a fuse needing replacing. The truck had tinted windows which some of the tint was peeling and has been removed leaving only some of the windows remaining with tint on them so that will need removing or the tint to be replaced. Both of the power seat switches have gone bad and need replacing in order for the seats to be adjusted which is a $70.00 per assembly fix and the driver and passenger front seats are needing them. The drivers side window needs a new regulator and is currently secured in the up position, the motor works fine but the rollers of the regulator have fallen off so nothing happens when the button is pressed. The passenger rear window motor also needs replacing and currently does not operate the window. The window is currently in the up position as well. The a/c blows cold and the truck runs good and will surely go for another couple hundred thousand miles. This vehicle currently has a salvage title.
