you are bidding on a 1964 belair station wagon, car was not running when i got it, last tagged 1982, story on car was that original owner in memphis tn. was having the original 283 rebuilt at a back yard shop when the car amazingly lost the engine, tranny, wheels, front bumper and all the seats, car now has 2 buckets from a mustang and they sit very good, owner was told that this stuff got stolen off the car when he was not at home for 3 days, owner was mad of course and got the car back home and never was put back together. now i have it and here is what i have done to the car. it has had all brakes redone, new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake hoses, shoes and turned drums, car stops great. 350 engine with new flat top pistons and rings, 10 10 crank, reconditioned rods, 274 crane cam with no ruff idle and crane lifters, all new timing components, has fresh 461 casting 1964 heads and high volume oil pump. 3 row aluminum new radiator, all new hoses, new plug wires and plugs, new automatic choke kit factory. new battery and belts, rebuilt starter and alternator, has recent rebuilt Qjet carburetor, new chrome valve covers and air cleaner. new duel exhausts with of course glass packs for that 60's chevy sound all the way to the rear of the car in factory location. front end parts consist of upper a frame bushings on both sides and sway bar kits installed also. ball joints checked good and did the tie rod ends. all pressure power steering hoses are new and works like it should. wheels are in fair condition with a small amount of rust, 2 center caps need replacing. rubber on rear tires is almost new, fronts are decent but not great, i also put in a rebuilt clutch and pressure plate but when trying to back up clutch has some ruffness but in trying to go forward it is pretty smooth, may need flywheel resurfaced? it has a saginaw 4 speed with the 375 1st gear which is fairly rare so i have been told but it is perfect for making this car pull off easy. also has brand new drive shaft with new u joints and swing bearing. all lights work, turn signals work on rear only because the fronts are not hooked up yet and the left front assembly is missing, wipers work come on and go off to park just perfect. dome light works, all idiot lights work perfectly, gas gauge works perfectly, heater core is bad, car is a factory air conditioned car not working with all brackets and compressor present with the car. car has tented glass and all is in very goood condition except for the back right long glass and there is a replacement with the car. the only sheet metal the car needs is the spare tire well, other wise the car only has some surface rust with 3 small holes, one in the left quarter about the size of a half dollar and the other 2 are in the lower front corners of the cowl at the bottom of the windshield. rear end is quiet, all new shocks, one hood hinge, speedometer works, horn works, i am sure i missed something but this should give you a good idea what you are getting, if you should have any questions 901-237-4262 daytime, after 6 pm central time 901-835- 2389, 100% feedback score, car will have bill of sale and if i can have title in hand i will, i am going to register it dec 28th, i may have to wait a few weeks to get the title from nashville tn.
