My initial thought was yea sure,they all state that.I bought the car,it arrived,the sellers claims were correct! I do not know about "newer than new"but as new-ABSOLUTELY! I actively seek out low mileage well documented 560SL cars and have had the opportunity to market several in the last few years,this one is amazing!Crisp is the word to describe this beautiful example.Every aspect of the car is in like new condition,the trim pieces are fresh,void of dings,or cloudy finish,the leather as new,the wood void of any cracks with as new finish.When I was photographing this car we pulled the hardtop off to view the softtop,the top was wrapped in towels, not just the window but also wrapped were the metal crossmembers to protect the cloth top(photographed),an example of how well this car had been cared for throughout.Well cared for examples look great in natural light only to be driven into the showroom with fluorescent lights, flaws are revealed,this car still looks outstanding under harsh lighting conditions.The paint is original with a new,wet look- still!
