There are simply none of these around. This 02 Model E-250 Cutaway has been converted as new for a mobility bubble top passenger bus. The van started life as a long wheelbase extended incomplete van and had the bubble top installed, along with custom hard flooring, extended doors, bus seating and bus style oversize windows, a Ricon UVL under vehicle handicap wheelchair lift, and special entry steps. This van seats 13 people including the driver. The last row of 2 seats on the left folds up for a wheelchair or cargo space and it has the tie-downs for the built in flooring. The van was owned and leased by a local outpatient care facility and was only used to transport people. It has been meticulously serviced, tires are in great shape, interior is all very clean, and it runs / drives beautifully. These vans are insanely pricey new, and this one is both in great cosmetic and mechanical condition and has a very long ways to go yet. exterior The paint and body on this van are in excellent condition for a service vehicle. It has nice gloss, no body rust, no hail, and no damage. It has a clean Carfax report, no accidents, but Autocheck shows 1 hiccup. The paint looks original and it all matches perfectly, undercarriage shows no signs of any damage. We don't salt the roads in winter. The glass is all very nice, bumpers are straight, trim is fine, and the tires all have pretty good even tread left. The van has very few imperfections. Notably, there are a few small nicks in the drivers door by the window and a little bump along the edge of that front door seam. The fiberglass looks fine, not all faded, everything lines up and looks good. Our detailers left a few unattended decals on the back of the van, if you'd like them removed, not a big deal. Note, the wheelchair lift in the photos was not operating properly, but we have repaired it and it works like a charm every time. One of the sensors that tells it, full extension has been made and it's ok to lower had just gotten gummed up. It's in great shape and really doesn't appear to have been used much. interior The interior is in just as good of condition. It smells nice, no mal-odors at all. The upholstery is all very good and even the headliner in the bubble area still looks nice. The bus seating in this van is great, it's a 15 passenger wheelbase, shrunk to 13 seats, so each seat has additional room. It does have rear air, everything works inside, nice and comfy. mechanical I drove this van for 3 hours the day we bought it, running errands. It fired up in 15 degree weather perfectly after sitting a few days at the sale, and ran nice and smooth. I drove it in the snow and it performed very well. It has good power, shifts perfect, steering is tight, all very nice and civilized. It just feels like a well kept van. We put it through our shop, and all we did was change the oil. The brake pad life is great, no wet leaks, belt and hoses fine, transmission fluid looks good too. I'm not totally sure what the regulations are on inspections for passenger transport (for profit) vehicles in Colorado, but my guess is, the vehicle had to be inspected by DOT regularly.
