Here I have a 1998 Dodge Neon 4-door sport package........its automatic, and has the 2.0 DOHC motor........it has a new starter, brand new battery, and radiator.........motor runs strong.....no ticks or taps, however leaks a good amount of oil.....inspected til august of 2012......brakes are 50%......good shocks/struts......the heat blows very hot......has power windows and locks....the windows work the locks do not.....cruise control works......the outside is in great shape for age, lots of little scratches but no dents or rust..........the check engine light has been on since i bought it.......was taken to my mechanic and he said he fixed the leak which was supposedly the oil pressure sending unit, but still leaked afterwards.....i also told him to drop the transmission pan, and replace the fluid and filter......however, he must have misunderstood me and flushed the tranny, which in turn caused reverse to start slipping 2 days later........reverse still works, however, when given more than 1/4 throttle it will slip......but baby the throttle and its not too noticeable......that was about a month or two ago, and it hasnt gotten worse.....there is no slipping in drive or any other gear.......also, the valve seals leak causing it to smoke upon startup, but thats a given since its a 150000 mile DOHC motor.......once hot she doesnt smoke at all.....the smoke is white, no blue in it.......i bought it in late august of 2012 with 143000 miles for my comcast job, and 3.5 months later, she has 8000 more so you can see its been driven a lot.......very reliable car, but i needed more space for my job so i got a new taurus......this car is not needed anymore......its located in ephrata PA at my house, and i commute daily to either lancaster or reading so i probably wouldnt mind drivin her to you if you would like to test drive or take a look.........i appreciate it guys and happy holidays!!!!!On Dec-20-11 at 20:05:08 PST, seller added the following information: also, i never realized it but this is an R/T Neon.....the autocheck thing says itOn Dec-21-11 at 08:15:09 PST, seller added the following information: also after a little research, i figured out that its NOT an R/T neon, since they only came in 5-speed.....not sure why the autocheck says it is.......its a neon highline sport
