1977 BRONCO 4 WHEEL DRIVE "RESTORED" STRONG 302 V8 ENGINE+++3 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION THIS IS A SOLID SOUTHERN BRONCO...NO RUST PROBLEMS HARD-TOP+++BIKINI TOP+++NICE PAINT POWER STEERING+++NEW WHEELS AND TIRES GOOD INTERIOR+++MECHANICALLY THINGS WORK WHERE IS THE BRONCO LOCATED? We are in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee about 50 miles below Knoxville and right on interstate 75. We are easy to find, come look! VIN U15GL086078 and the VIN plate matches the title. MILEAGE 14349 reading and I'm sure it has turned once, but things have been rebuilt or replaced. HISTORY: I'm selling this for my friend David, he is a car restorer like me. He bought the Bronco from a older man from Knoxville that had a hard time driving. TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? No rust problems that I found, all the panels look original, no rusty holes, the tail gate is good, the front cowl is not rusty, the worst thing I could find is a couple of pea size bubble on the passengers rocker panel at the seam on the back. This Bronco may be as solid as you will find. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS VEHICLE? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a vehicle I like and can sell for a fair market price, I buy it fix a few things and resell. I'm listing this one for my friend David. PAINT: The paint is nice, it has no rust, no dents, it has a brillant shine and it is straight to look down the sides. There are a few stone chips and maybe a very small defect if you look with a critical eye, but its a good paint job. The paint will satisfy 99% of the people, it not a perfect roll out of the trailer show car paint job, but it is plenty good enough for me. I think you will be hapopy with the paint! CHROME: What there is look good. BUMPERS: Nice tube bumpers. INTEROR: Interior is nice, the seat have no wear, no hole, there is no smoke smell and the painted trim is not perfect, but good. I found one seam in the consol that is loose, you can see it in a picture. The front has nice quality shoulder/lap seat belts. UNSERSIDE: No rust problems, not detailed and painted shinny. GLASS: Clear. TOP: The Bronco comes the good hard-top you see in the pictures plus a bikini top in very nice condition. SOUND SYSTEM: AM/FM CD with 2 extra good speakers. AIR CONDITIONING: Roll the windows down or take the top off. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running 302 that has no rattles and no blue smoke. We think this is the original matching engine that has been rebuilt, but cannot document it. This is a good engine and it runs very strong! EXHAUST SYSTEM: Good condition. TRANSMISSION: 3 speed automatic transmission, its a C4 that shifts as it should. REAR-END: No whines or growls. BRAKES: Fresh brake job including wheel cyclinders. STEERING: The steering linkage is good, the Bronco drives very good, it has a stabilizer and it is power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES : Wheels look new, the are aluminum 15 inch and look like 10 inchs wide to me, the tires are 32X11.30 and have very good tread. LIGHTS and wiring: They all work and the wiring is good! . THE GAS GAUGE WORKS! Speedometer is working! Heater works! Horn works! Wipers work! All the lights work! 2 gas tanks and the fuel gauge works! . GUAGES: They work, the gas gauge works. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think they open and close good! DEFECTS AND PROBLEMS: These are just what I remember off the top of my head! 1. Paint is good, it has not dents, but some chips and pimple on the back end of a rocker panel. 2. Small tear in the consol 3. WILL THE BRONCO DRIVE HOME? I think it will drive anywhere, but I never recommend driving a classic vehicle a long distance. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just too hard! The rest of the information is boring unless you are really interested in buying the vehicle, its just buying details like shipping, paperwork, who I am, where the car is located and how to pay and contact information. CONTACT INFO: my cell telephone number is 423-506-8987, I do not answer when driving, while meeting with people, after about 8:00 PM Eastern Time or on Sunday morning or Sunday nights. Please leave a voice mail and I’ll get back. I do check my emails several times a day. cell 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com PAPERWORK: I know what to do! We are just a father/son 2 man operation, but we are a Tennessee licensed/bonded car dealer and have sold cars all over the US and exported many. We do not have a showroom, we work out of a large garage at my home. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION, THIS IS A FIXED PRICE LISTING: I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time and sale the car “come look”. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO STOP THE LISTING AT ANY TIME. THE CAR IS FOR SALE ON THE LOCAL MARKET. WHERE THE CAR IS LOCATED: The car is here at my garage in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee, we are 50 miles south of Knoxville and 50 miles north of Chattanooga. Look at a Road Atlas and follow interstate 75 south from Knoxville. I live one mile and one turn from the interstate exit. My zip code is 37303. The closest large airport is Knoxville. Athens does have a good small airport, but has no commercial flights. WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM: My name is Ron Watson and I live in the small town of Athens, Tennessee “Athens is called the friendly city”. We are located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee “I am truly qualified to be called a Hill Billy”. I am 65 years old and work with my son Keith who is now 39. I am now retired and living my dream restoring, selling and improving classic cars. For 12 years I was an auto mechanics instructor at Tennessee Technology Center here in Athens. I am also a veteran of the US Army; I served as a Chinook helicopter mechanic, crew chief and instructor in the late 60s, I did spend a year in Vietnam. I’m Southern Baptist faith and proud to be an American. I’ve been married to the same good woman for almost 42 years. LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GREEN HILLS OF EAST TENNESSEE! TRANSPORT: EBAY MOTORS gives instant transport quotes if you click on the link on my listing. US OR EXPORT “the best”: Classic Car Transport, LLC: This is a very good company that will handle any type of transport in the US or overseas. They are located in Kansas City. Call Bill Jeremy Whitley at 913-749-0936 Email jeremyw@classiccartransport.com MY AREA CODE FOR TRANSPORT: The area code for Athens, Tennessee is 37303. I live 1 mile off a major interstate (I-75) and 35 miles south of interstate 40, so transport is usually very fast. PAYMENT: I require a $250 deposit for a Buy Now or to hold the car. I will take paypal for the deposit, but not for full payment. Option 1: Pay the old school way face to face. Option 2: Pay by check, I will wait till the check clears, I have had a fake bank certified check. Option 3: The safest is to let our banks handle it, my bank is a member of the US Federal Reserve, this is called wire transfer. And its safe for both of us. WILL I HOLD THE CAR UNTIL YOU GET HERE TO LOOK OR HAVE IT INSPECTED? Not without a $250 non-refundable deposit! I have held too many cars that people promise me they are going to buy and they never show up, their wife won’t let them buy it, they can’t get a loan or they just back out. Before you drive or fly a long distance you need to make sure the car is not sold. “The way I look at it is until you pay a deposit you’re just looking and dreaming”. INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspections are required to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 64 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. I judge the car to my standards, this may not be yours. Paid inspectors are unpredictable, you might get a good one, but most of them do not impress me at all, most really don’t know what to look at, they make a good car sound bad on the report. They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don’t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first! BOTTOM LINE: My firm price is $16,850 and I am asking $17,850 on the local market. The game is not rocket science, ask a price and come down. It’s not fun to bargain over the cell phone all day long with people that live 2000 miles away and are not going to buy anyway. My firm price is the Buy Now price. I have sold every car I have ever tried to, so I’m not motivated to be bargained down. WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SELL YOU THE VEHICLE WITH-OUT AN INSPECTION; YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF NERVE AND PLEASE DON’T BE A CRY BABY. Read the ME section on the upper right hand part of the listing marked seller info. Thank You, Ron Watson cell: 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com I am very careful about taking payment, I have had a fake certified check, it looked real and the buyer seemed real. I will take one, but I will check you out. I am ebay varified, that means you can buy ebays buyer protection plan and they will guarantee thats I'm real, they will not guarantee the car.
