Vehicle Detail

1965 MUSTANG 2=2 FASTBACK+++STRONG V8 ENGINE+++5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION NEW MAGNUM WHEELS+++ NICE CHROME & GLASS ALL NEW INTERIOR+++THINGS WORK CAR IN A NUT SHELL: If you want to save some time here is what I think about the car. The car is worth the money, but it does not have perfect paint. The builder of the car was a hard core mechanic that did great work. The car runs like a scalded dog, it dirves very nice (all the front-end parts look new), mechanical things work, it stops good with disc brakes on the front, the interior is all new, the transmission is upgraded to a 5 speed manual, the car is no rust bucket, the paint has a brillant shine. The builder was a great mechanic, but is was not a great bodyman. He was a good painter, but he did not know how to block sand, the car has some tiny dimples, its not as straight a an arrow. THE COLOR IS NOT ORIGINAL, ITA A BEAUTIFUL CRANBERRY/BURGANDY CAR HAS UPGRADES LIKE::::DISC BRAKES, LARGE SWAY BAR AND HIGH AMP ALTERNATOR VIN 5R09C146276 MILEAGE: I'm sure you can add anotheR 100,000 to the reading I have posted, but everything is new or replaced. TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? No problems with rust, the floors look nice, they look like they have been replaced with a complete new floor pan. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a classic car restorer, but when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The paint has a brillant shine, it has no big dents and no rusted places. The paint is good, the body work before the paint was not as good, the car was not block sanded as good as it should have been, a very small amount of imprefection in the primer will make a place show up when the car is this color and is this shinny. Lots of cars are this way and you can't see it in the pictures, but its there. If the paint was better the car would sell for in the mid 20s. CHROME: The bumpers are nice, the emblem nice, the stainless nice, the trunk lock bezel is dull, the door handles shine good, but have some pitts. INTEROR: The interior looks new everywhere you look, the only critical thing I see is the new headliner is wrinkled on the sides, (it needs pulled tighter). SOUND SYSTEM: Aftermarket AM/FM radio with 2 6x9 speakers in the back. NEW GAST TANK! UNSERSIDE: It looks great, it is clean, but not detailed for show. GLASS: The glass is nice, the windshield has some super fine marks. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running 351 cubic inch, that runs very strong. It has no unwanted rattles or noises. It is very clean and has a Edelbrock carb and aluminum intake, it has billet aluminum pullies, new belts, new hoses, new radiator and an electric fan. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Very good condition, it is the GT style duals with Muscle Car sounding mufflers, they have the deep loud sound. TRANSMISSION: Nice shifting 5 speed manual, it has a good shifting floor shifter. REAR-END: No whines or growls. BRAKES: Good, they stop the car good, they are disc in the front and drums in the rear. A dual resorvoir master cyclinder has been added as a upgade. STEERING: Good, the car drives great, it is not power steering. It drive straight and I think easy, all the suspention parts look new, including new shocks and a large front sway bar. WHEELS AND TIRES: The wheels are new 14 inch Magnums and the tire like new radials. The trun in flange on the rear top is cut out, someone in the past must have needed more room for large tires. LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, the brake lights work and all 4 interior lights work. GUAGES: They are old school and in a pod under the dash and they work. SPEEDOMETER WORKS! GAS GAUGE WORKS! WIPERS WORK! Heater is working! Horn and parking brake do not work. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think they open and close good! TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard! The rest of the information is boring unless you are really interested in buying the car, its just buying details like shipping, paperwork, who I am, where the car is located and how to pay and contact information. CONTACT INFO: my cell is 423-506-8987, I do not answer when driving, while meeting with people, after about 8:00 PM Eastern Time or on Sunday morning or Sunday nights. Please leave a voice mail and I’ll get back. I do check my emails several times a day. cell 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com PAPERWORK: I know what to do! We are just a father/son 2 man operation, but we are a Tennessee licensed/bonded car dealer and have sold cars all over the US and exported many. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION, THIS IS A FIXED PRICE LISTING: I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time and sale the car “come look”. I RESERVE TH RIGHT TO STOP THE LISTING AT ANY TIME. THE CAR IS FOR SALE ON THE LOCAL MARKET. WHERE THE CAR IS LOCATED: The car is here at my home in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee, we are 50 miles south of Knoxville. Look at a Road Atlas and follow interstate 75 south from Knoxville. I live one mile and one turn from the interstate exit. My zip code is 37303. The closest large airport is Knoxville. Athens does have a good small airport, but has no commercial flights. WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM: My name is Ron Watson and I live in the small town of Athens, Tennessee “Athens is called the friendly city”. We are located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee. I am 65 years old and work with my son Keith who is now 39. I am now retired and living my dream restoring, selling and improving classic cars. For 12 years I was an auto mechanics instructor at Tennessee Technology Center here in Athens. I am also a veteran of the US Army; I served as a Chinook helicopter mechanic, crew chief and instructor in the late 60s, I did spend a year in Vietnam. I’m Southern Baptist faith and proud to be an American. I’ve been married to the same good woman for almost 42 years. LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GREEN HILLS OF EAST TENNESSEE! TRANSPORT: EBAY MOTORS gives 3 instant transport quotes if you click on the link on my listing. US OR EXPORT “the best”: Classic Car Transport, LLC: This is a very good company that will handle any type of transport in the US or overseas with the white glove treatment. Call Bill at 913-749-0930 Email billc@classiccartransport.com MY AREA CODE FOR TRANSPORT: The area code for Athens, Tennessee is 37303. I live 1 mile off a major interstate (I-75) and 35 miles south of interstate 40, so transport is usually very fast. PAYMENT: I require a $250 deposit for a Buy Now or to hold the car. Option 1: Pay the old school way face to face. Option 2: Pay by check, I will wait till the check clears, I have had a fake bank certified check. Option 3: The safest is to let our banks handle it, my bank is a member of the US Federal Reserve, this is called wire transfer. Option 4: Pay Pal is good, but it cost a lot, I will not take anything, but the deposit by Pay Pal. INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspections are required to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 64 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. I judge the car to my standards, this may not be yours. Paid inspectors are unpredictable, you might get a good one, but most of them do not impress me at all, most really don’t know what to look at, they make a good car sound bad on the report. They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don’t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first! TRADES: Please no trades! BOTTOM LINE: My firm price is $18,650 and I'm asking more on the local market. The game is not rocket science, ask a price and come down. It’s not fun to bargain over the cell phone all day long with people that live 2000 miles away and are not going to buy anyway. My firm price is the Buy Now price. I have sold every car I have ever tried to, so I’m not motivated to be bargained down. PLEASE!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Come look at this vehicle. Please don’t hit the Buy Now button unless your ready to really buy it! Do your research, call me with questions, read my feed backs, I am ebay verified; this means they say I’m a real person in a real place. I WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SELL YOU THE VEHICLE WITH-OUT AN INSPECTION; YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF NERVE AND PLEASE DON’T BE A CRY BABY. Read the ME section on the upper right hand part of the listing marked seller info. Thank You, Ron Watson cell: 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com IS THERE A WARRANTY? No!
