In 1980, the Pontiac Trans Am was invited to pace the biggest race in America, the Indy 500. In honor of such a duty, Pontiac built only 5100 Trans Am Indy 500 Pace Cars, wearing two-toned paint, loaded with options, and putting power to the ground via a 4.9 liter turbo charged V8. Why buy this Trans Am? This is an original 5,000-mile Turbo Trans Am. It's condition and miles is unmatched, so if you're looking for an Indy 500 Trans Am, this is quite possibly the finest in the Country. EXTERIOR: The White and Gray combination finish is beautiful and shows very well, but the bird on the hood is simply breathtaking! With only 5k miles, this car is as nice as they come. There aren't any scrapes, dents, or damage in the paint or any of the body panels, giving it a stunning appearance. You may find a light scratch or imperfection here or there, but I'd definitely rate the car a solid 9-9.5 out of 10. The White Turbo wheels are damage free, as are the spoiler, air dams, etc. The paint is glossy and matching, and the car looks fantastic. INTERIOR: The Oyster Vinyl interior with black hobnail cloth inserts looks equal to the exterior, with carpet, seats, dash, and trim showing only slight wear, with no damage to note and no signs of ever being smoked in.
