Vehicle Detail

1969 CAMARO.....SUPER SPORT....NO RUST PROBLEMS 350 CUBIC INCH V8 ENGINE+++4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION VERY NICE PAINT+++LIKE NEW BLACK INTERIOR++CRYSTAL CLEAR GLASS FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING++POWER STEERING++DISC FRONT BRAKES MILEAGE: 31708 reading and I'm sure another 100,000, but its a restored car. TITLE: Clear Tennessee title in hand. VIN: 124379N666363 I HAVE ANOTHER 69 CAMARO ON EBAY MOTORS, CLICK THE LINK ON THE TOP RIGHT OF THE PAGE FOR MY OTHER ITEMS. FACTS OF LIFE::::This is a very good, very solid, beautiful car! Its not a roll out of the trailer perfect show car with a $20,000 paint job. The paint is nice, the interior very good, it drives good, it runs great, it stops good and things work. I don't sugar coat my decripton like a car showroom does, I'm a mechanic so its more like an inspection. I do not put cars up for auction and have my buddies bid them up. I list the cars for what I'll take and have sold every car I have ever tried to. My listings make me sound harder to deal with than I really am. If you read my decription 2 times you will find the answers to most of your questions. I tell you where I'm at, what it takes to buy the car, the defects on the car and play no games. Thank you in advance for reading my listing. Ron Watson IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? None that I can find, the bottoms of the doors and rockers under the doors look great, the floors look original, I see a couple of places that may have had small patches. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? I’m a retired mechanic/auto-mechnic instructor/was a Army helicopter mechanic and instructor. When I find a truck or car I like for a good price I buy it fix things and resell for a fair profit. IS THIS A REAL SUPER SPORT? I don't know, it looks right, but I'm sure not an expert on them. My hard core Chevrolet friend thinks it is, but I'm just saying it looks like one. This car is old and guys do what they like and most like the Super Sport stuff, so come look and make your own decision. IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? I think that it is, but did not try to find casting numbers and look them up. PAINT: The car is straight to look down the sides, it has no dents, no cracks and no bubbles. I consider this a very good paint job, you might find a spec or flaw if you look real had, but you'll have to look with a critical eye. The door jambs and underside of trunk and hood are painted very neat. This is not a roll out of the trailer show car with a $20,000 paint job, its just very nice to drive and go to your local shows. The biggist thing I see wrong with the paint is the hood, the truck and the spoiler were painted off the car and the metal flake looks different. If the used a different pressure, mixed the paint different or every spayed slower or faster it can cause this. If you were here you would see it, but it will not show up in pictures. The stripes are painted under the clear coat and look good, this is a good looking car. CHROME: All they chrome is nice, the bumpers, emblems and door handles look new. The stainless that goes arount the windshield and rear window has minor dings, its almost impossible to put a new windshield in and not get a ding in the stainless. The Super Sport stainless at the base of window is good. INTEROR: Good interior, no wear, no holes, no bad smoke smell, great head-liner, no cracks in the dash pad, the steering wheel is after market. UNSERSIDE: Nice, clean and neat, but not for show, its built to drive, I see a couple of places that may have been patched, I think the floors are original. GLASS: The glass all looks very nice, no cracks or no wiper marks, the windsield looks new as well as the rubber weather striping. The side windows roll up and down good. ENGINE: The engine is a super strong running 350 cubic inch, it has no unwanted rattles and no blue smoke. You do have to pump the gas several times when its cold, but it runs like it should. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Great sounding dual exhaust, it has the real Muscle Car sound. TRANSMISSION: The transmission is a 4 speed manual that shifts good, the clutch and pressure plate are good. REAR-END: No whines or growls, its a 12 bolt, I did not check the ratio, but it feels good, you can drive the car on trips, its not real low. BRAKES: Good, the brakes are factory disc on the front and drums on the rear, they stop good, but are not power. STEERING: The cars drives very good, its power steering. WHEELS AND TIRES: Front tires are 215/50/17 and the rear are 275/40/18, the tires are good radials. This is a factory air conditioned car and it works. LIGHTS: They work, turn signals work, headlights work, tail lights work, the marker lights work, the dome is niot working (I pulled the lense off to check the bulb and the wires were in place, but no bulb holder. GUAGES: They all work! They are old school in a pod under the dash. Volts work, oil works and temp works. SPEEDOMETER WORKS ! WIPERS WORK! GAS GAUGE WORKS! HORN is not working (car has a aftermarket steering wheel and the horn buttons are junk, The tachometer works. The sound system is good, its a JVC radio with CD, the rear speakers are 6X9 Pioneer. HOW DO THE DOORS AND HOOD OPEN AND CLOSE? I think the doors fit and open very good. BAD STUFF: 1. Dome light is not working. 2. Hood, trunk and spoiler were painted off the car and the metallic looks differednt. 3. My price is firm. 4. Probally something else I missed. GOOD STUFF: 1. This is a beautiful car with a good running engine, nice shifting 4 speed, it has power steering and cold air conditioning. 2. My price is good for a 69 Camaro in good condition. TRADES: Please no trades, they never work out and are just to hard! The rest of the information is boring unless you are really interested in buying the car, its just buying details like shipping, paperwork, who I am, where the car is located and how to pay and contact information. CONTACT INFO: my cell is 423-506-8987, I do not answer when driving, while meeting with people, after about 8:00 PM Eastern Time or on Sunday morning or Sunday nights. Please leave a voice mail and I’ll get back. I do check my emails several times a day. cell 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com PAPERWORK: I know what to do! WE DO NOT HAVE A SHOW ROOM WITH OVERHEAD! We are just a father/son 2 man operation, but we are a Tennessee licensed/bonded car dealer and have sold cars all over the US and exported many. THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION, THIS IS A FIXED PRICE LISTING: I reserve the right to stop the listing at any time and sale the vehicle “come look”. I RESERVE TH RIGHT TO STOP THE LISTING AT ANY TIME. THE CAR IS FOR SALE ON THE LOCAL MARKET. WHERE THE CAR IS LOCATED: The car is here at my garage in Athens, Tennessee. Athens is in east Tennessee, we are 50 miles south of Knoxville. Look at a Road Atlas and follow interstate 75 south from Knoxville. I live one mile and one turn from the interstate exit. My zip code is 37303. The closest large airport is Knoxville. Athens does have a good small airport, but has no commercial flights. WHO YOU ARE BUYING FROM: My name is Ron Watson and I live in the small town of Athens, Tennessee “Athens is called the friendly city”. We are located in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in east Tennessee. I am 65 years old and work with my son Keith who is now 39. I am now retired and living my dream restoring, selling and improving classic cars. For 12 years I was an auto mechanics instructor at Tennessee Technology Center here in Athens. I am also a veteran of the US Army; I served as a Chinook helicopter mechanic, crew chief and instructor in the late 60s, I did spend a year in Vietnam. I’m Southern Baptist faith and proud to be an American. I’ve been married to the same good woman for almost 42 years. LIFE IS GOOD IN THE GREEN HILLS OF EAST TENNESSEE! TRANSPORT: EBAY MOTORS gives 3 instant transport quotes if you click on the link on my listing. US OR EXPORT “the best”: Classic Car Transport, LLC located in the Kansas City area: This is a very good company that will handle any type of transport in the US or overseas with the white glove treatment. Call Jeremy Whitley at 913-749-0936 "You can google Classic Car Transport and read about them". Email jeremyw@classiccartransport.com MY AREA CODE FOR TRANSPORT: The area code for Athens, Tennessee is 37303. I live 1 mile off a major interstate (I-75) and 35 miles south of interstate 40, so transport is usually very fast. PAYMENT: I require a $250 deposit for a Buy Now or to hold the car. I will take this by PayPal, but not full payment. Option 1: Pay the old school way face to face. Option 2: Pay by check, I will wait till the check clears, I have had a fake bank certified check. Option 3: The safest is to let our banks handle it, my bank is a member of the US Federal Reserve, this is called wire transfer. INSPECTIONS: Please come look and be happy. All inspections are required to be done before the end of the listing. I listed this car as I see it as a 64 year old car restorer, please come and judge it for your self. I judge the car to my standards, this may not be yours. Paid inspectors are unpredictable, you might get a good one, but most of them do not impress me at all, most really don’t know what to look at, they make a good car sound bad on the report. They have to be very critical to cover their back sides and all their concerned about is getting paid. I understand how hard it is to buy a car without looking, but I think you should come look yourself. I don’t like paid inspectors, I like for the person that is buying to inspect for themselves. I think its fine to send a friend to inspect for you. To make it clear, don’t hit the buy now button and then inspect, come inspect first! TRADES: Please no trades! BOTTOM LINE: My price firm price is $24,850 and I'm asking $26,850 on the local market. The game is not rocket science, ask a price and come down. It’s not fun to bargain over the cell phone all day long with people that live 2000 miles away and are not going to buy anyway. My firm price is the Buy Now price. I have sold every car I have ever tried to, so I’m not motivated to be bargained down. PLEASE!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Come look at this vehicle. Please don’t hit the Buy Now button unless your ready to really buy it! Do your research, call me with questions, read my feed backs, I am ebay verified; this means they say I’m a real person in a real place. I WILL BE VERY HAPPY TO SELL YOU THE VEHICLE WITH-OUT AN INSPECTION; YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF NERVE AND PLEASE DON’T BE A CRY BABY. Read the ME section on the upper right hand part of the listing marked seller info. Thank You, Ron Watson cell: 423-506-8987 email: dreamcar@live.com IS THERE A WARRANTY? No!
