Hello again my fellow ebayers here I have for sale my last project for the year,this is my 1982 jeep cj7,It is a 5 speed manual,with 4 X 4.Power brakes,Power steering,Here's a brief history on the jeepI've had it for a 9 months now,I purchased it from my very good friend wich is the nephew of the originalowner who bought it in 1982.It was in his family since then,after his uncle passed away it was more sentimental than anything but finally had to part from it. When i purchased it it was in ok shape because the fact they kept it around and never really drove it,here's what I've done since in my power. Exterior,tub,body: Did the body work ,that was not much just the side sills needed fixing,it needed new front floors,and fix a couple of small surface bubbles from it sitting,once finish refinished the body in an OD green,(army style green flat in finish) with flat black accents along with it,it a rough all terrain look,paint is very simple to maintain and can be touched up very easily.the body has all new headlights,side marker lenses are new,tail lamp lenses are new,most every part on the body was taken of sand blasted and refinished or replaced,the windshield is new along with all the weatherstrips on the jeep,windows inners, outside,door seals,tail gate,lift gate,window frame and top to frame seals are all new.The only soon to be bad thing on the body I found was the body bushings,there a couple that are showing some small cracks,nothing mayor just figured Id mention it,it has newer genuine steel bumpers front and rear and side bars finished in textured rubber finish. The doors came off an 1989 jeep,all glass is in good to great shape,they are tinted all around.The door panels are stainless steel looks very nice and also easy to clean.new door lock cylinders ,drivers door opens fine with key passengers door need small linkage rod to work with key,passenger door can be locked from the inside no problems.so the jeep can be fully locked and secured of personal items. It has no radio or speakers.all lights work including fog lights on front bumper and light bar up top.wipers,signals,left turn signal cancels fine right one you have to manually stop it.it does not have a horn,that's why god gave you two middle fingers and why man invented guns,no let me stop.figured put some humor out in the middle of the listing, It has 15x10 A.H.I aluminium wheels also painted to match the jeep,fitted with a nice set of 9 month old maxxis mudder buck shoot tires,31x10.5x15 they have about 80% or more meat left on them.the wheels are nice and straight and ride super nice no road noise or shakes. The top is a genuine Jeep top,came off a 1995 we resealed and refinished it in rubber liner finish black textured ,all glass is good,tinted all around,lift supports work good,very nice for the age, The frame/chassis is super solid with nothing but dust and grime from normal use not one spec of rust,or damage on it,the under side of the tub was pressure washed and undercoated for extra protection,its very nice because when it does get dirty the garden hose takes most of everything off. The interior has been rubber lined as well very nice finish and look,its easy to clean ,it has all new interior,both front and rear seat have been done in perforated center material and solid sides with gray outlines,very nice touch to the jeep,it does have a new speedometer showing 1780 recent miles on it,I replaced it because of the famous OEM speedometer bounce wich was severe with the old one .The new one works perfect,( i do have the original speedo for the new owner to validate miles).Its got all new dash lights also,some stainless steel extras and also a center console with cup holders.the roll bar has a nice black vinyl padded cover on it,looks very nice also. Engine is super solid with no funny noises or leaks,it runs super strong and smooth,It has a new aluminium valve cover with gasket kit on it,I rebuilt the carb for better performance and reliability ,has new tuneup,cap,rotor plugs,fuel filter,ect.New thermosthat and housing,newer radiator ,all new hoses,belts are also new,new oil pressure switches new alternator,newer starter,new intake and exhaust gaskets,new stainless battery tray,optima red top battery also.It has a custom,dual exhaust system,with cherry bombs sounds very nice, The power brake system has a new master cylinder,new front brake hoses,new calipers,pads,new rear wheel cylinders,hardware,shoes,cables,drums,ect.All new wheel bearings and seals in the front hubs,with new diff oil and seals,new rear wheel bearings along with new diff oil and seals.too. The transmission shifts very nice no grinding it is the borg warner t5,clutch is smooth and works good,the transfer case works also,it has been out once my friend told me to be resealed I guess it was leaking at one point in time so they pulled it resealed it and its here today,the 4X4 works it does have manual locking hubs and 4X4 control shaft in the cab,the rear drive shaft is solid with no play and drives good,the front drive shaft will need a new slip yoke,it does not inhibit the jeep from working,it just shakes some if you drive it in 4 wheel drive high,in low 4 wheel drive it works fine (most trail riding or getting in the mud). Suspension is the factory leaf spring with anti sway bar up front,rides very nice and even with no noises of any sort,its stock for the most part, OK I WILL MAKE THIS LONG STORY VERY SHORT BECAUSE I CAN BE HERE FOR DAYS TALKING ABOUT THIS JEEP AND NEVER GET TO SELL IT, You will be getting a very nice,solid tub,body up restored jeep that has been went through in and out up and down from front to back,and had a number of parts and add ons installed at a great price,runs good,stops good,drives good,and gets a number of looks every way and every where you go, Now please remember in less than a month this jeep is considered an antique here in the state of florida,30 years old baby,its not perfect ,nothing bad with that,its just your getting a very nicely redone piece of time to use for your pleasure or what ever floats your boat tickles your pickle ect.
