Vehicle Detail

I am the fourth owner of this amazing 1986.5 Toyota Supra. I have receipts going to back to August of 1989 when the second owner bought it. The car still wears its original paint and has all of its original VIN # stickers in place as evidenced by the pictures. No expense was spared in the maintenance and upkeep of this Toyota Supra. It has always been maintained at the Toyota dealer (records back to 21,070 miles) or at a local Toyota/Lexus specialty shop. I do not have the original window sticker but, I do have the invoice from the Toyota dealer (Waite Motor Sales in Watertown, New York) dated August 14, 1989 at a price of $14,776.00). The second and third owners kept this Supra in the garage and washed and waxed it on a weekly basis. When I bought the Supra I scrubbed the wheelwells and gave the car a general cleaning which you will see in the pictures. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. The receipts folder is almost three inches thick! As stated previously no expense was spared in the maintenance of this car (details to follow). The pictures do not do justice to the car. There is no rust or accident damage. The only paintwork ever done to the Supra was on the top of the front bumper and possibly the top of the rear bumper which are known to fade. The work was carried out in November of 2006 with a cost of about $800. The radio was replaced by a high quality Pioneer AM/FM/CD player with remote and MP3 and iPod capability along with four new speakers in the factory locations. The car will come with the original Toyota factory radio which still works. The Supra runs and drives like it has half the mileage that is showing on the odometer. The engine does not smoke or burn oil. I just changed the oil and flushed the cooling system before driving it back from Florida. The heat blows hot and the A/C system was completely replaced and converted to R-134A and it blows very cold! It is a real pleasure to drive this Supra and I have owned four of these great cars over the years and were it not for my Z car obsession I would be keeping this one! I have received questions regarding my short term ownership--in short this makes 10 cars and if this Supra does not sell I will keep it. Just to make it interesting I am also listing my 1991 Mustang GT so you decide which one I will keep. Recent maintenance highlights include the following: (I am not including the Toyota dealer oil changes but they were carried out every 3-4k miles) New front brake rotors (Centric), new front brake pads (Akebono) and new Beck Arnley driver's side steering rack boot (passenger side was already replaced) New power brake booster October 2011 ($556) 110,732 miles New battery May 2011 ($74) Denso throttle Position Sensor ($85) Toyota timing belt, water pump, tensioner, cam seals, crank seal, valve cover gaskets, clutch assembly with requisite seals, driveshaft center support bearing, transmission mount, fuel filter, air filter, driver's side door hinges, new power steering pump and high pressure line.
