Mechanics special 2005 Mini Cooper 2 door Hatchback powered by a 1.6L engine with an automatic overdrive. A very economical vehicle that gets excellent fuel mileage. The engine is a smooth running well maintained four cylinder 16V DOHC fuel injected engine. A great running engine!!! The transmission is an automatic 5spd overdrive transmission that does have issues. This vehicle rode and drove fine till the transmission went out. I checked and used and rebuilt transmissions are available. I am not certain if this trans will need completely rebuilt or if whatever broke can be fixed. I priced one rebuilt transmission and was quoted 1800.00 by a reputable company in Cleveland. A used one or someone with Mini Cooper mechanical experience may be able to save a lot of money and have a low miles Cooper for way under book value. The only issue with this car other than the transmission is the driverside mirror cover. You will find this vehicle to be in very nice shape otherwise. Those are the only known defects on the car. A two owner vehicle that has been very well kept. A clean car fax comes with this car...I also have the NADA value guide showing this Cooper worth $10,275.00 and retail value over 13,000.00 dollars. The interior is very clean. All black leather with fully adjustable seats. The rear seats fold down for additional cargo room. Very clean and odor free inside...The inside of this vehicle looks awesome. Beautiful leather and a great dash layout...Owners manual in the glove box. The dash is amazing with the speedo tach layout...The power sunroof is large and looks great...Packed full of options this Cooper has more power options than a luxury car...Engine compartment is cleand with excellent access for maintaing the car. The tires are in great shape and the alloy rims give this Cooper a cool look. A real nice looking vehicle that is clean and rust free. Never wrecked and a clean car fax to prove it. The factory pearl white looks great. This is one sharp car..The style, size and color against the black, chrome and dark tint give a truly amazing look. Mini's are usually high priced and hard to afford this one does need a transmission but at thsi price it will not last long. Priced to sell!!!
