Okay, Here goes, I have a 2002 Ford F350 XLT, 7.3 Diesel, Rear air bags for towing, Automatic, Crew cab 4-door, Ford CD player radio, The inside is "very" clean. This truck was my dad's truck. He bought it with 10 miles on it. He lived in Plano Texas and I live in PA, I got the truck last week from my mom, Here is the history. It has a newer 7.3 motor and transmission in it. my parents neighbor wrecked their 02 f350 and sold the engine and transmission to my dad. I have the paperwork. So the engine and the tranny had only 89,101 miles on them, My dad paid 4000 for the set and had a the Ford dealer install them, The truck itself has 355,000 on it now. My dad replaced anything that needed replaced, Sometimes before they even broke, lol. the engine and tranny have 128,329 miles on it now. I drove it up from Texas last week. It drives very smooth. It is the XLT so its loaded, I averaged 17.6 going 70mph all the way up. 1278 miles to Erie, PA. I don't know if thats good or bad. I never owned a diesel. I also have a tonneau cover that is still new never used. My parents were retired and took their 5th wheel camper all over God's creation, They racked the miles, My mom said that the old engine and transmission was still good, My dad wanted to replace them both because they planned to travel next summer to Canada coast to coast. The truck is in nice shape. The tailgate has some small dents, If I was going to keep this truck, I would prob replace the tailgate, My dad backed up to the camper a couple times, Has a 16K rated 5th wheel in the bed still, The truck is White. Other then the tailgate, I would rate the truck as a 8.5. My mom said my dad replaced the turbo, the A/C compressor, the alt, The fuel filter, and put in a cold air intake when Ford exchanged the motor and tranny.. Also has a class 5 hitch under bumper. He also had the rear end rebuilt in May of 2009. That was $2300.00. They put all heavy duty parts in and my mom said that they got better mileage since it was rebuilt right from Ford. My dad always took it to Bankston Ford in Dallas. They did everything. I did some research and I see that these trucks are getting way over 500,000 miles. With the new engine and tranny, I don't see why you could not get at least that. If you can't tell, The truck was kept in my dad's heated building whenever they were not using it. They took care of the truck, He loved it like a son. lol. I never got to drive it. It is two wheel drive with dually, New tires in back and the front tires look to be about 50%. I have a clear blue Texas title that is signed off on. It is signed and ready to be delivered. I took it to Champion Ford in Erie, and they checked it all out and did a complete service on it. They told me that the front brake pads are about 40% and the front tires are about 50%, Rear brakes are 80%, Rear tires are 90%, no leaks coming from anywhere. Front end is tight. They did the Oil change & lubed all 13 fittings. Checked all systems. The truck don't leak, there is no blowby, and no funny noises. It drives straight, I would know, The truck starts with no problem, It got down in the 20's here in PA. The cruise works all the locks and windows work too, Not a spec of rust. "From Texas" I truthfully do not need this big of a truck. I took it to Ford here in Erie, PA. they offered me $9,000 trade in towards a new F-150. I also don't want a truck payment right now either. This truck can haul a house. I mean the power it has would get me in trouble in a minute. And with the 5th wheel. You could haul your camper or horse trailer. I know my dad paid the RV place $2800 to install that hitch. I would replace the tailgate. Or maybe put a net on there. That would look very sharp. Even with the miles, this truck looks great. I would get into this truck and drive to Alaska if I had to. The Kelly Blue book is $12,000 in fair condition private party value. I say fair only because of the tailgate. I priced a tailgate from Ford, They want $500 for a new one. I mean the dealer offered me $9,000 on trade. I feel it is worth at least $7500 all day long. I never sold anything on Ebay before. I know 99% of you guys are honest people, When I get E-mails asking me if I will send the truck to Africa and your going to send me more money then the truck is worth, I get very worried that that person is trying to scam me in some way. GENUINEOn Dec-08-11 at 09:23:16 PST, seller added the following information: I want to add that I went out to start the truck yesterday and it had a hard time starting."it was cold" I took it in to the Ford diesel mechanic and he told me that two of my glow plugs were not working, He advised me that since he will have the covers open, I might as well replace all 8 glow plugs. So as of today, 8 new autolite glow plugs installed and it now starts on the first try. He told me that the plugs that were in there were original. Being in Texas and being in a heated building, I guess he didn't notice the glow plugs were bad. So, eight new plug installed. I just wanted to update everyone looking at the auction. Thanks
