What an excellent Christmas present for someone with an appreciation for classic muscle cars! This 1979 Silver Anniversary Edition Trans Am has been garage-kept, pampered, and given lots of TLC over the years. I am the second owner of this car and am selling my "toys" in order to keep our business going in this economy. So, my loss is your gain! I purchased this car on August 17, 2002 from CCC Classics in Dothan, AL (the original owners). I originally bought the car with the intent to show, so it is in show condition. The only add-on is a vintage, retro cassette player with a modern 6-disc CD changer mounted in the trunk. There is a slight crack (3 inches) in the front dash that was there when I bought it. The right person could easily fix this. This car was NEVER used as a daily driver, nor has it ever seen rain or snow. It has been garaged the entire time I have owned it. CCC Classics professionally restored the front end of the car due to damage occurring from a wreck by the first owner. There was absolutely no chassis damage, and the parts were original Trans Am parts. The paint job is 9 years old and is in perfect condition. The car runs beautifully. This car has 94,000 original miles on it. It is a 403 ci 6.6 LT automatic. As with any 32 year old antique car, there is no implied warranty. This car is for sale as is. As with all antique cars, it requires maintenance and TLC. This is a fun car to drive, and you will enjoy driving it. It turns heads wherever it goes, and it is one of the true muscle cars from that era. The blue book value on this car is $26,000. These cars in perfect condition go for $45,000.
