It's a full crew 1-ton long box with the super sturdy V10. We love the 6.8s here and regularly sell fleet trucks with well over 200k miles running great. This truck was owned/driven by a local family for the last 7+1/2 years. One of their children turned 16 and they traded this truck on 2 inexpensive vehicles so they could get her a vehicle. The truck is in very good shape for the age and it drives nicer than most superdutys 6 years newer. In the last 20k miles the brakes, tires, and ball joints were all replaced. The owner reports the transmission being rebuilt at a local Ford store about 30k miles ago. It drives as such. The paint and body are fine, interior is decent, and it's tow ready. This is a neat truck and a good buy. exterior The paint on this rig looks original. I've been over it and see no signs of any previous repair. It's a very hard color to match, turns shades of copper and gold in the sun, really a neat color. The history reports read clean as well. The truck has been here in Colorado since day one and we don't salt the roads in winter. There's no bubbly rust on the body. The wheels are in decent shape and tires have superb tread all the way around. The bed looks ok, tailgate latch is a little sticky but opens fine every time. The windshield is good, no cracks or bad chips. The truck has normal wear and tear for a 12 year old dark colored 4x4. The rockers are a bit pitted from the big tires, hood has the standard but faint lacquer marks, normal small scratches about the body, etc. It's a good looking truck, not new, but definitely well kept. The photos do show it well. It's been waxed and has great gloss. interior The interior is in presentable condition. The last owner was a smoker and there's no getting around that, doesn't reek, but it's evident. It has been detailed and will dissipate with time. There are burn marks in the carpet and upholstery. Our vinyl repair man has come by and filled a few holes in the seats and carpet, cleaned up better. There is no cup holder insert. 2 door lock actuators are weak, we can replace for $85/side. The air blows cold, stereo works, and all other accessories are fine. It's tidy and well kept apart from the few burns mentioned, matches the mileage well. mechanical This truck is really a great driver, best selling point of the vehicle. It's super tight for a Ford, usually 99s wander all over the road by now, it's very easy to drive. The motor runs like new and should, 111k is nothing on a Triton V10. The truck shifts perfect, no wet leaks, little crusty seepage, 4x4 works fine, PLENTY of power, and will get decent fuel economy if you keep your foot out of it.
