For sale is a 1972 Dodge Charger Rallye: The exterior is tawney gold and the interior is gold. It is equipped with the matching numbers 440 motor. There are (2) fender tags and built sheet as well as the clear title for the car. It also is equipped with a center console with cassette on console. I do not know the working condition. It does not have the microphone. It does have the slapstik console and bucket seats. The interior will need restoration. The dash pad is cracked. The dash cluster is in good shape and has the stock radio. It does have the matching numbers 440 engine. The mileage does show around 47,754 miles on the speedometer. I had a few people look at the car that are very knowledgeable of the 71-72 B Bodies. They think it may be a low mileage car..not a car with over 100,000 miles by looking at the wear of certain areas including brake pad. I really think it is a car with only 47,754 miles since the last title was dated October 1989 only had 40,000 miles. Not sure if the transmission is matching, but would expect it to be. The car does run. I haven't driven it since it is missing the driver side rear drum and it needs an exhaust. Will easily drive on trailer. The exterior: Missing front valance. The bulge hood that is pictured in the pictures does "not" come with the car. NO BULGE HOOD. The car will come with a 71-74 falt hood. Sorry, we are using the bulge hood for a restoration that we are doing along with the rear rallye tail lights and housing. The rear bumper is currently off the car, but will come with it...just no tail light assemblies. We were going to part the car out, but why part out a matching numbers 440 U Code Rallye? The fenders will need to be replaced. The rallye doors are ok. The quarters will need to be replaced. The rear full AMD quarter panels are available an additional cost. The car deserves a full restoration! The wheels are 15" Keystones. The trunk area does have rot by the drivers side area where the weatherstripping adheres to. Please see pic. The trunk floor has surface rust. I am sure holes will appear if media blasted. There are no big hole that are apparent. It has the jack assembly in the trunk. but no spare wheel/tire. Underbody: need exhaust and missing rear drum on driver side. The frame rail is solid. It does have the rear sway bar. Front disc brakes. We also will be posting a rust free rolling 72 Shell and a 71 Dodge Charger R/T rolling shell...both with titles..so please check our EBay store for those 2 listings.
