For sale is a Very Rare 1981 VW Rabbit Pickup. It is a very small truck that can seat 2 people comfortably. This is a unfinished project truck for somebody. The gas engine that was inside was blown and is removed from the truck. So you can put the engine of your choice inside. There is no engine currently in the truck. A very easy swap would be to put a 1.6 TD engine in it. That would give you easily over 50mpg and lots of power for how light the truck is. The exterior of the truck is in very good condition. The only place you will find a little rust is underneath the truck. There is absolutely no rust on the exterior or in the engine bay. No signs of rust on the strut towers. The truck is freshly repainted gloss white with black bedliner. The front end was converted to the round headlight setup by the previous owner. There is a spot on the bottom of the drivers door where some bodywork shows. Otherwise everything is clean and straight. The interior of the truck is about like you would imagine a 1981 truck to look like. Not perfect but not trashed. The seats were custom made a while ago and are in good condition except for a small tear in the drivers seat. the floors have some rust but are totally solid. The truck has a big power sliding sunroof that is very cool! the tires are almost new. The suspension and brakes were rebuilt a while back and should still be good. I have a clear title in hand and ready to sign over to the high bidder. There is no Reserve on the truck!! The miles on the truck are unknown and the title is odometer exempt. Good luck!
