1994 Mercedes Benz 500SL Hardtop + Soft Top Rare Teal Color * Runs And Drives But Needs Mechanical Work * Just Re-listed! Buyer Never Contacted Me Serious Offers Only! I recently Purchased this Mercedes from a Local new car dealer that I get trades from. I drove the car about 100 miles and then put the car in the shop for new brakes. All new slotted/drilled rotors where installed along with new brake pads. Also both front top Hydraulic cylinders where leaking so they where replaced with new ones. After getting the car back I had a customer test drive the car and it came back with a misfire. I replaced both cap/rotors on each head (yes there are two!) and still no change. My mechanic said the car may need a new wire harness which is a common problem. Srs light is on and the radio works sometimes. No Check engine light on! The car runs rough at idle but once driving over 2000rpms it's fine. Transmission is 100%. A/c blows cold. Although the car does drive I would have it towed to reduce the risk of damaging the engine. The paint is also very nice on the car. The soft top works 100% but plastic window in the soft top should be replaced. All books and top tool included in sale.
