Up for auction is my 76 Carrera. This car is a special Euro only race spec special production. This car was never offered for sale in the the U.S. and is said to be one of only 30-40 that sneaked through the borders into the states. The true porsche enthusiast car. I wont get into the details because I'm sure you know more then me on these cars. This Carrera is highly optioned with leather, sport package, Targa roof, cruise control, A/C, Tape player microphone recorder...etc. The Carrera was just taken off the road for the season and is complete with 95% of the original components. The original 3.0L and 5-speed trans was completely rebuilt in the 80's for wich I have receipts. 220k km on the car and 100k km on rebuilt drivetrain. The Carrera is CRISP, No smoke EVER. Tires are aged as well as the interior. Bilstiens in all corners. The only rust on the car is under the battery tray. This is not a museum car but a clean all original daily driver that deserves a new home with a owner who has more time then myself. I am a private collector that currently has 17 cars and can not invest the time and money to put into this rare Porsche at the moment. I am in no way desperate to sell, I know the market is soft. I'm looking to see what the current climate is with the money from this car going into completing another restoration.
