LAST CHANCE! If it doesn't sell this time we'll just keep it for fun! Thanks for looking! Up for your consideration is this classic 1971 DJ5 American General Postal Jeep - Right Hand Drive (RHD). I purchased this vehicle for a "one day a week" postal job and this baby ran great! Did not let me down in any way shape or form. The only reason I am selling it is because I needed a job for more than one day a week and one with more feeling of long term job security since the postal service seems to be in quite a fix at the moment. Please note - there is no factory installed heater in this vehicle. There is a small space heater wired into the battery and attached to the floor. NOT 4 wheel drive. The jeep has been recently inspected and is good to go until August 2012. No issues were found. The body needs some work here and there - the inside flooring is solid - no holes. The gas gauge doesn't work but we took it to our local garage and they told us it wouldn't be that hard to fix. In fact, nothing in this vehicle would be hard to fix - they made them simple back then! Boy do I miss that simplicity! I am not a mechanic so please ask any specific questions you may have and I'll do my best to get an answer for you. The odometer reads 59,133 but I am sure it is more like 159,133.
