Up for auction is a sharp looking 1948 Plymouth Coupe. It is powered by a 455 cubic inch engine out of a 1970 Buick Wildcat with high compression heads. It has a turbo 400 transmission. It was professionally built on a 1977 Camaro sub-frame with a Camaro rear end and front suspension. It has real knock off spoked wheels. No need for a lug wrench you just use a brass hammer. The tire sizes are P225/55-R17. The tread is about 65 percent. It has power steering and power brakes. All the glass is good except for some fogging on the windshield. But all the glass is original. The dash has never been cut on. The interior and headliner are brand new. All the windows are in operating condition. The doors open and close with ease. It needs a 6 to 12 volt converter installed in order for all the instruments to work, although they do work. The bumpers are dent free but need rechromed. It is missing the windshild wiper knob and the plastic hood insert on the hood ornament. The body and trim are in great condition. The windshield visor really sets this car off. The passenger side floor board has been patched - but nothing major. All the car is lacking is a paint job and rechroming of the bumpers - the body is straight. It is a fast running, head turning vehicle. A little TLC and this car would be a beautiful show car. All the hard work is done. Please don't hesitate to ask questions.
