Do not miss your chance to own a rare Alfa Spider, for such a reasonable price. Up for auction is a gorgeous 1982 Alfa Romeo, Pininfarina Spider Veloce. This amazing Alfa has been stored in a climate controlled garage for a majority of its life and it shows. The Spider has no rust and is very solid. The Alfa has 74k, low documented miles with both soft and hard tops! This Pininfarina Alfa is not a concourse classic, but rather an extraordinary candidate for a quality driver. With a light tune up and some sweat equity, this Alfa would be an amazing driver. This Alfa would also be a great candidate for a slight restoration. The Alfa is not running and has not run for three years. The previous owner stated that the engine and transmission are in great operating condition. The engine currently turns freely. The previous owner also stated that the engine is no longer getting spark. Thus, we suspect a poor distributor or a relating issue which is easily addressed. Paint & Body: The body is very solid with no signs of rust. The body is extremely straight, as are the body lines and factory gaps. There are two small dents, located on the passenger fender and bonnet. The vehicle is still dressed in her original paint, with minimal signs of touch ups throughout the years. The driver door, driver fender, boot and hardtop should be painted for a proper presentation. The undercarriage is rust free and very clean. All of the emblems are in great condition and the chrome is nice. Mechanics: According to the previous owner, the motor is very strong and performs well, as you would expect with a 74k mile vehicle. However the vehicle is not currently running. The previous owner stated that the engine is not getting spark. We have not confirmed such as of yet due to other pressing projects. The previous owner also stated that the transmission functions as it should. Interior: The interior is very dirty, but is in overall good condition. There are a couple of small rips in the passenger seat, the soft tops interior is okay, but not pristine, and the carpets are certainty cleanable. The interior on this Alfa just needs a very thorough cleaning! The previous owner stated that all of the gauges work properly. The interior is missing a couple items such as the ashtray and other small items that have not been inventoried.The soft top is in good condition and the exterior of the soft top shows well. The hard tops interior is cleanable and the top is solid with no cracks. Shipping & Payment: A non-refundable deposit of a $500 through pay pal is required immediately after the close of the auction. The remainder of the balance is to be paid via wire transfer or cash within 7 days. If these terms are not met, the vehicle will be sold to the next qualified buyer. The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs and logistics. Taxes & Fees: It is the sole responsibility of the buyer to pay the appropriate taxes and fees with their local license branch.
