2007 RED RAV4 TOYOTA 2WD REVISION/UPDATE NOV 23 7:30 PM As I have been looking over my listing, and receiving inquiries regarding the car, and after looking at my NYState title, I have realized that there is an obvious and HUGE DISCREPANCY regarding the mileage on this car, and the information listed. I bought the car in 2009 in California, with an odometer reading of around 24,000mi. I then moved back to NYC months after purchasing the car, and per state law, had the title transferred to New York State. Never realizing the MASSIVE difference, since my title is never in my car, and I always just look at my odometer which now reads 38867mi...I have realized that the The DMV made a GIANT MISTAKE on my title when I relocated, and I am immediately working this out with the DMV immediately after they reopen after Thanksgiving. The odometer is correct, the title is going to be replaced and fixed as soon as the DMV can process that for me. I understand the confusion, and am extremely sorry for this, as I really would love to sell this car ASAP to someone who can enjoy it as I have. I am also aware that turning back the odometer/falsely advertising mileage on any car is illegal, and when originally listing this car I truly had no intention of misguiding anybody, and the second this was realized, I immediately called the DMV. I do not use this car to commute - never have, and as I said, bought it at 24000mi, there is NO WAY THE 62000 odometer reading is the true reading (true reading pictured: 36867) and as soon as i can show proof of that on this site, or privately through buyer inquiries I will absolutely do so. Also, as I say below, due to this title/DMV confusion/mix up, and my trying to be as up front about this as possible; and of course with any used sale in general, I ENCOURAGE YOU TO USE WHATEVER RESOURCES YOU NEED TO FEEL COMFORTABLE WHAT YOU ARE BUYING IS TRULY WHAT I AM ADVERTISING.
