1992 Miata MX5 - BBS Edition This has been my daily ride for the last 4 years during which I have added 30k miles. No mechanical issues what so ever. In the last 18 months I have replaced the brakes, a/c compressor, tires all around (have covered 12k miles since) and new battery. Known Issues : 1. Tear on seam of leather drivers seat. 2. Couple of badly touched scratches on drivers side front panel. 3. Small section of bottom panel (passenger side rear) needs replacing. I was quoted $100 to have this repaired ,but have never bothered. 4. Soft top appears to be original and has a couple of repaired small tears. The rear window zip has broken and the rear window no longer zips out. Newer replacement tops ($180 Moss Motors), do not even have this zip section, so again I never found it a problem. If I was keeping the car, I would replace the top in the next year or two. Car drives extremely well, and I get over 30mpg around town from the 1.6 manual engine. Title check suggests an issue from the reported mileage in 1999 !!! No idea why this pops up. All the quoted mileages along the way seem fine and I can only document from 2007 when I bought the car. I have recently purchased a 10 year anniversary edition Miata, so no room in the garage for 2 Miatas!
